My personal build : ER > Boots of Celerity > RFC > IE > Dominik's > BT or Mercurial. That's the most common one. Remember you don't need the flat damage from IE that early, mana sustain and CDR scale so well on Jhin it's ridiculous. ER + RFC puts you above 230 AD, and you get as much damage with a price not that much above IE's price alone, plus added utility from ER and RFC passives. Then you can build IE and have disgusting damage.

then just go midlane then. supports are there to enable the team not just by their supportive skills, but also the items you build. building full ap as a support is hard since you cant have any farm and the ap items are way too expensive. by the time you got your death cap, the enemy team had already fucked your nexus.

old karma used to be able to do massive AoE dmg together with a high health shield, and old Sion could theoretically have infinite health and hit like a truck at the same time. but because they did not fit any position in the meta noone played them. and that is the biggest fault this game has, that the devs design the game around the meta.
