The acting is fucking horrendous. It relies on some jump scares and when those fail it just gives up. The only way this is creepy or scarey is if you're a pubescent child or a girl. It's a psychological terror that does nothing at all to try and duck with your mind and the ending is so fucking telegraphed you see it coming 20 minutes in.

Bigger cousin snuck me into the theater when Blair Which Project (the original one) came out. I was still in single digit years at the time. Movie was terrifying as fuck.

I'd say it's aged fairly well. It keeps to more of an ominous theme more than anything. It's one of those movies where you don't see much. But the mood can still get to your head.

The computers are a little antiquated but that's the only place it really shows, the movie is all about the human psyche and the drama it spawns. The special effects are fucking awesome though, no one bothers to put in that kind of effort anymore. The monsters look better than CG from 10 years ago and the movie is from 82.
