The only fight I've been in as an adult was with a faggot literally at least 60 pounds smaller than me. We were drunk. He punched me in the face. He was so small that I couldn't even believe he had just done it, and while I was processing that disbelief, he did it again. I just put him in a chokehold and sat on him. I'm not a violent dude. Not sure if you'd really call it a fight but I got punched in the face twice so...whatevs.

In highschool there was this guy that sat in our group of friends and he thought he was better than everyone else. He always made up bullshit stories about him getting into fights and shit like that. So one day, I got sick of his ego and he wanted to "pretend" fight me to cause a scene. So I got up but instead of fake punches, I punched the faggot out.

Been in more fights than I can count. And now my hands are riddled with arthritis. It sucks dick!! Always at least try to talk your way out of an altercation, if that doesn't work pick them up high as you can slam them on their head and stomp them a couple times. I've been in a few. The experience is bizarre. Adrenaline takes over and everything in the scuffle seems blurry. Like you abandon all thought process and just wildly throw punches. Well, that's how fights went with me anyway.

Turns out Baxter works at the bar

Here's what I didn't know that had transpired.

It was satisfying. It was my first real fight. Been in plenty of planned fights in high school in the bathrooms, did martial arts as a kid.

Being that this was my first fight in the real world, and that I got him with the first punch ide ever thrown to defend myself, I almost came. I yelled at him until my throat was raw.

Sure it was definitely worth it, more for staying healthy and strong though. I've rarely had to actually defend myself. That doesn't mean I haven't had any altercations, people have attempted to attack me several times without success.

When someone throws a punch at you and ends up with a broken arm or leg they usually don't want to continue.

I tell everyone to watch out for contracts, or guarantees of a certain level or rank within a certain time period like the 2 year black belt program that a lot of places use.

Do research on whatever they teach, research the teachers and if possible the teachers' teachers. Call and ask of you can observe a class or two, or have a one on one session with the teacher(s). If you find out that the teacher and his/her teacher is legit, then make sure that they are the one doing most of the teaching and not their higher level students. It's ok for the higher level students to assist sometimes, but not most of the time.

Some places don't like to do a lot of sparring fearing that if a student gets injured that they will sue the school. Unfortunately I've witnessed this and the school lost.
