How did you distract yourself from existential depression today, /b/?

>>
>>690022863
The actual cake pieces came out really malformed so I had to use frosting to try to correct it. Wish I had taken pictures of the process, but only got the final product unfortunately.

cut section out. I wanna see the inside.

I'm drinking my life away trying to convince myself i'm worth living. Trying to write some music to distract myself

Looks pretty cute in the so retarded it's cute kinda way like pugs. Good job OP

I bought some whisky then remembered I hate drinking. Then I took a bunch of sleeping meds so I can sleep all day. Now that it's night I'm just walking around. Probably going to take more sleeping meds so I can sleep until I go back to work.

I'm a prison guard. I also just want to die

once you realize everyone feels existential dread and nobody has a fucking clue what the fuck is going on you can easily start being the writer of your own life. basically just doing thing with confidence and without hesitation makes you look like you have a semblance of a clue of what the fuck to do and people flock to you.
>let the dread flow through you friends
>>
>>690023144
What I was meaning to say was that I liked it from an artistic point of view but am no fan of frosting. I just prefer real whipped cream made fresh, fresh fruit, chocolate, roasted almond cakes. Grew up in Europe and a European nation island and then came to the US, don't get the whole frosting fad: it is just sugary paste.

What's up with the mods you have been doing to Skyrim? Anything fun?

I don't have the list with me here at work, but its mostly immersion stuff and personal rules, could greentext it I guess?

>>

thats actually pretty dope op
>>
>>690025892
I'm guessing the remaster made people want to play again
>>
>>690025275
>>690025038
I dont have the names of the specific mods, but you should probably find ones that suit your play style anyway

For my NPC
>realistic needs and diseases
>disable fast travel
>trade and barter
>crafting overhaul
>alchemy overhaul
>hunterborn
>Point the way (more roadsigns)
>hold border banners
>texture mods
>harvesting mod (it makes it so you get more than one item from bushes and such)

Im sure I have more for the NPC but i'm not at home, and I keep my other mods on, but they aren't related.

As far as personal rules
>stealing is morally bad, unless you are stealing from someone undoubtedly evil
>taking something that obviously belongs to someone else is still stealing, even if the game says it isn't
>joining a faction just to take all their stuff is stealing
>don't do dirty tricks like harming yourself and healing up to climb levels faster
>quests are for adventurers, not NPCs (unless it's required to buy a house or something, but only if it is the only option)
>money must be earned honestly from work
>Sprinting is exhausting, only do that in emergencies

These are most of the rules, but mostly it's up to how you would be as a real person in this world.
>>
>>690024287
Ambien. Couple pills of it.
>>
>>690026497
>>690026880
Is the remaster just the same game graphically updated and optimized for the newest gen consoles to come out?
>>
>>690027050
Sweet dreams to you I hope, anon. How hard would it be to transfer out of the CO/prison career? Probably really weighs on you after time.
>>
>>690027098
Console mods also.. Not sure how that's gonna work though...

Will also be a PC update to, free if you own all the DLCS
>>
>>690026994
Real person rules.

I'd be blitzed off skooma and in the thieves guild.
>>
>>690027379
Not that hard I'm taking college classes online. Just waiting it out. I work confinement so I always have to deal with the people no one else wants to deal with
>>
>>690027379
Also thanks for the sweet dreams
>>
>>690027431
Weird..... I feel like they're gonna have to make a cross-platform compatible development console so that all the mods written for PC will also compile and mod the console version, then make a "marketplace" for mods or something? I know the big push right now is for seamless cross-platform game experience, but I feel like console mods will probably add a lot of headaches they weren't prepared for.
>>
They did console mods for Fallout 4 and the day it was unlocked people stole mods and the community shat itself
>>
>>690027715
What are you taking classes for/what is your ideal career?

I feel like confinement could give a lot of opportunity for extremely out there/misunderstood folks on top of the probably violent/uncooperative inmates. Any good stories?
>>
>>690027994
More then likely and seeing half of the mods for skyrim are either porn, Require SKSE or Graphics mods. None of those could get on consoles tbh
>>
>>690028260
It has been incredibly easy to "steal mods" for games in the PC market for a very long time, enough to become the norm I think. That is why I feel like opening up modding for newest generation consoles is very odd, since modding inherently opens up holes in what has otherwise been a very propriety platform.
>>
>>690028817
Exactly. Did they talk at all about it over e3 this past weekend? I unfortunately worked through all the conference, but I was hoping for good announcements.
>>
>>690026994

I usually just listen to music until I don't want to be awake anymore and attempt to sleep.
For some awful reason in the past week I can remember my dreams, and they were either reminding me directly of times I fucked myself in life, or the dream was incredibly cool and I was back in time eating lunch with my highschool crush or something, but then I wake up and I get excited to see her the next day but then I realize it was just a dream and want to fucking die because my life outside of my dream consist of me asking God to perform a late abortion on me, and my prayers going unanswered

>>690030263
What are you growing in your garden? Who was it you taught binary and why? I do software engineering/architecture myself, so teaching people little basics and stuff is always fun.
>>
I bussed all over town and stole ~$210 worth of xmen graphic novels (7 total from 3 different stores)
>>
>>690030401
They probably will do that for sure. I usually wish they would make improvements/content expansions for remasters, but I feel like it is usually just updating looks and smoothness for consoles. Did Bethesda announce anything else during E3, do you know?

>>690030988
What kind of music do you like? I have been having a lot of odd dreams involving middle/high school people and settings I have not seen in upwards of 15 years. Pretty odd stuff. I hope you can feel better or your life ends if that's what you need.

Some of them did link to an "inspiration" playlist. You have some nice choices in songs. Pretty varied selection and I wouldn't mind you shuffling your iPod for a while. Could get tired of it after a little though, not to discredit the music or your taste.
I understand your sentiment on life or death struggle. Hasn't gotten better for me yet, but I hear it can.

I just wore a flannel & tucked them in my armpit. Trick is to not act rushed or sketched out, be casual and friendly. I also stole a $10 pack of beef jerky for lunch (poorfag here) and a small bottle of Chanel No5 for my girlfriend which was probably $40-50

So at least $250 in goods for $6 in bus passes and 6 hours of my time

This.

I've said I wanted to go to a different country, told people I did, found a way and now I'm here. I barely had to pay anything by the way.

I showed strength and confidence in my decisions and more importantly myself, and as a young man that makes people starting in life look up to you and those further in life want to support you - and those equal to you want to be your friend. The jealous ones or ones who show disdain towards you for no good reason should be ignored.

The trade off in society is that you eventually do what those did to help you get where you are, and the cycle continues after that.

I have always found music to be a great outlet especially when it comes to things you might not be able to express otherwise. I hope you can finish and be happy with what you've made.

I understand. Weed for me ran out many years ago. Still have unhealthy vices, but working on them. That's great you're running. I just joined a gym a few days ago and I hope it'll give me a healthy outlet.

Thank you. What is your job? I hope you can figure out what's agitating you. Do you not have any idea at all, or do you think trying to face it or figure out why might open up a can of worms that will be really hard to deal with? Hope you can feel good soon anon.

Well I figure the thread will probably die out soon, but I'll stick around till 404. Glad to talk to everyone, and the next time I make cakes or something will make a new thread. Probably around this same time. Take care.

So far there's a lot of piano, but in the final edit I'll likely be replacing a ton of that with guitar, maybe some harmonica, as well as some drums and a tambourine.
The style takes some inspiration from ragtime (though I've learned now that it's more of a march than anything) and bands like Blink 182, though I'm terrible with the names of music styles so I'm afraid that's what you'll have to go off of.
It's anxiety-type stuff. A little depression here and there. Thanks, anon. You've actually made me feel a lot better about writing it. Never been much happy with my work, but I think that's something all artists deal with - big or small.
