Not Op, but I'm also kind of disapointed. I don't think it's a bad album, but I also expected something different. I haven't been listening to Gojira for that long, so I still have a lot to discover, so I could also imagine, that if they released what I would expect, long time listeners would say they just made the same with no innovation. It just seems a bit boring compared to the other albums.

Music fag here. Some metal is actually god tier. If you think about it each individual in the band has their instrument set up to where they can play the most complex thing. Some bands actually utilize this and play with true mastery of their instrument.
