To be honest, the reason I upgraded was because my wife bought me fallout 4 for xmas. That was the first game I would say my old pc didn't run smoothly.
I still completed it with that setup and 4gb ram but in the large towns it was quite laggy as ram was maxed out.
Since upgrading to 6700k, 980 & 16gb ram I haven't felt the need to play it again
