Acid is far superior. Shrooms give me a bellyache and a body load. Acid just feels cleaner and more enjoyable. But if you want a true breakthrough level 5 experience, I have found it easier with a qt+ of shrooms.

Go for a bike ride, me and a few mates recently dropped acid at his place whilst his family was away,
He lives in a pretty quiet suburban neighborhood which doesnt get much traffic as its abiut 40min drive from the city.
It was like being a fucking kid again man, we rode our bikes around the neighborhood for like 3 hours, trying to find sweet natural jumps in the woods, racing eachothe around the block, going super fast downhills, man it was the shit.

Have a m8 who took 1 tab, didnt feel anything for 30 mins so he took another, 30 mins went by again and still nothing so he took 1 more.
Safe to say he had a fucking nasty trip.
Acid could potentially take 2-3 hours to kick in, remember, you can always take more, but never less.
Bad acid trips are a horrible experience man.
I say take half a tab, wait an hour, if you think you can handle more then take he other half. Rinse and repeat

Make sure the day after is free aswell OP, if the acid is anygood then you wont be feeling sober until about 24-36 hours after dropping.

Never let the music stop. It can fully ruin a trip if a certain vibe is lost without warning. Stay plugged in and all should be well. Have some instruments to hand (even if you don't play). Anyway, I would suggest doing it during the day and going outside. The scenery is much more beautiful. I can't really explain it well, but the best explanation is that everything looks like it's in a picture or a painting. I don't think the bystanders will notice anything because the external effects aren't that noticeable (unless they trip REALLY hard). Just walk around and let them see as much as possible.
The night was unpleasant for me. My senses were very dull and the darkness felt threatening.
