Did this once down at college on the way to the dining hall. Some chick was screaming bloody murder. Me and a few guys went to check it out after calling the cops and she tried for the fromt door handle and was pulled back and then started pulling at the blinds. Wasn't thinking that i could get shot or anything, just knew she needed help right fucking then, so i kicked in the door. Turns out Her boyfriend started ripping out phone cords and shit and tried to trap her in the house because she asked him to leave so she could finish some homework.
All things said and done, kicking in a door is exactly as cool/fun as it sounds.

Chloroform can be produced from bleach and acetone.
Remove 150 ml of bleach from a 4L jug. Cap and refrigerate.
Refrigerate acetone.
Once both are cool ( < 5*C), add 100 ml of acetone to bleach jug.
Cap and shake.
Leave in a cool shaded place for at least 12 hours with the cap 1/2 closed (allow venting)
The process is exothermic and it will get a bit warm.
Once sufficient time has passed, pour off the spent hypochlorite. The Chloroform will be at the bottom.
Distill if you want to further purify.
Use within a short period of time. For longer storage, a small quantity of tert alcohol is required to stabilize it. Phosgene and peroxides can form if stored without stabilization.
