My first month, I tried to do everything, move around fast and try to help others even though I still had my own shit to do...you know trying to be nice. That shit doesn't really matter, most of the worker's that stay longer than a year just don't give fucks. Just do exactly what the manager tells you to do and a regular speed. If shit backs up just smile and agree while continuing your assigned task.

You gotta work over the time? Tell the one in charge what is up and let them decide if they wanna pay you OT or regulate the shit to someone else. Don't argue, they'll fire you in a minute.

Lowest end salaried management starting at 40-45k and highest paying easily six figures. (store directors)

At my store (won't say) we're hurting for talent and essentially you just want to move up to a center store lead and from there you're stepping into the big leagues because they want to fast track you if you keep asking questions and try to learn at the right pace.

I dont have a crazy pic story. But I do have a story about Taco Bell. I live in Memphis. My sisters and I were waiting at our local Taco Bell one night, at the drive thru, just fucking waiting and waiting. Eventually my sis (she was driving) drove up to the window to yell at the Taco Bell employees. (this is true story) We had waited like 10 full mins at the drive thru speaker. We pulled up, the Taco Bell employeed apologized (the really did) The were being robbed at gunpoint while we were waiting for them to take our order. I dont know what happened afterwards, my sis drove us 20 mins away to the other Taco Bell.
