I'm a gun owner - I own two handguns, a shotgun and a rifle. I'm not advocating a gun ban. But clearly, something has to be done to tighten background checks. The fact that he was associated with criminals to the point where the FBI had to investigate him twice should have been enough to deny him a weapon of that caliber, if not any weapon at all. Something has to be done about this - the idea that anybody, anywhere, EVEN people on no-fly lists can obtain weapons like this(as long as they aren't felons) is absurd.
