Since the very first time I played WoW back in Vanilla, Elwynn Forest has been my favorite zone, it's peaceful, calming, and relaxing. To this day it remains my favorite place in the game. The music and the zone it's self is very nostalgic for me. I'd LIVE there if I could. When Garrisons were first announced, I was hoping you could out them in any zone you wanted, I would have put mine in Elwynn Forest.

I quite regularly like to just slowly walk through a lot of zones, soaking up them cozy feels. Howling Fjord is one of my favorite places of all time though, the feeling of sailing in Alliance side between those sheer cliffs into Daggercap Bay, that impaled ship hung with chains as you maneuvered your way towards Utgarde Pinnacle... Started WoW when I was 11 and played for 8 years. Stopped at MoP. Seriously makes me sick thinking about it. I can't move on. Really really miss Nostalrius and I don't think there will be another server like it again

I started at 8. And Outland was the shit. Particularly the area surrounding The Black Temple. Northrend was cool in the non icy zones. In vanilla Tanaris, the area with raptors, and the damn Plaguelands. I skipped MoP, and didn't really like the WoD zones. They felt lifeless, like cardboard, or that shit in the background of amy animated tv show. I miss WoW so damn much.

Still remember this game in it's prime, something no one will ever be able to explain to anyone who didn't get to experience it themselves. As silly as it sounds It was more than just a game. I remember while growing up I wasn't able to make many friends at school cause I was covered in eczema and looked different, coming home to WoW and jumping on vent with my guild felt like I was apart of something, there were people there who wanted to be my friend and help each other out. Every time my parents were arguing through their divorce WoW was there to drag me away from everything to the point where I was actually happier in Azeroth than in real life. I will never forget the amount of years I spent playing the game and how many friends I made. Looking around today at kids who are addicted to snapchat/instagram really shows how shit today's generation has become. One day I will revisit Azeroth in VR, probably just a local private server to wonder for hours and see the game from a new perspective.

You know how if you walk up a slope too steep, it just won't let you go up?
well they used that in most zones rather than invisible walls to keep you in.
I found a slope between two mounds that wasn't quite steep enough, if you flailed around you could get up this narrow gap.

I remember jamming this game years back, I think I got to level 40 in total. I was a Hunter, it was pretty fun. I always had help from IRL friends who were max level so that was handy to get free gold. I think at the time the max level was 70 or 75 or something.


Good game, even my sister who hasn't touched a game in years used to play on my account. Pretty embarrassing she got like 10 levels ahead of me..

wow, this has been an incredible, nostalgic thread. it comes at sort of the perfect time too, because i'm just starting to get back into the game again, and this thread is making me feel excited about the game as gay as that sounds.

I really wish you could customize the look more
I unlocked the racial banners, but it only affects a couple little ones, instead of all the big ones.

I wasn't expecting The Sims, but I really just wanted one building i could call my home.
Maybe a toy shelf where i could display a few of my favorites and hang a few tabards as decoration.
Not a massive complex with invasions and mining.

I've loved Nagrand since the steps I took there. TBC Nagrand anyway. WoD isn't bad it just feels like a different game after not playing since cata release. I also really enjoyed The Hinterlands and Terokkar

Guys I've played for several years and quitted at the release of MoP. I then went back to try WoD because everything seemed so hyped about it. But it just didn't feel the same at all.The world felt emptier. But now with this thread and the new extension I am wondering, should I give the game another chance or should I let that dream die?
