yee it's one of my babies. Here's another one. Shoddily modified Schecter Omen-8. It's got a bareknuckle in the bridge slot but the space wasn't big enough so I did the "routing" work with a hammer an screwdriver, and wired it straight to the output jack. Pulled the pickup selector switch out and pulled the wires from the other pickup out through it. Eventually I'm going to attach a home-made midi controller to those wires.

And here's a couple more. A gun shaped guitar I found gutted at my local used gear store, bought it for forty bones and wired it up, and then pulled out all the frets above 12 so it's half fretless. And a double-neck I made from 2 other guitars. It's named Aborto.

Cheap guitars are sometimes horrible to play and cheap amps don't always sound nice, so non-obtrusive equipment inspires to play more. And some players don't like performing, so they don't record anything. After all, hobbies are meant to be enjoyable to oneself, so whether they are entertaining to others doesn't matter. And as long as anyone can enjoy their hobby, there's no need to prove anyone that one is entitled to play guitar for example.

Also, Jackson has the DKMG dinky, great guitar. Most come with the passive emg buckers which don't sound all that great, but for a beginner it's a great guitar. They run around 2-300.
