Most likely, an orbital elevator could actually be used to transfer most of the materials from the planet to orbit.
In addition, laser and maser mining would be a good option, as it would allow mining and half-smelting simultaneously, meaning you can mine to molds, creating new ships as you plow your way deeper into the planet with vaster and vaster quarries.

Furthermore, you can gain control of those other companies by investing in the development of competing products to bring down their stock prices.
With a trillion, that's not too difficult. Go for OS's, office software, built-in emulators so they can work with known doc types and programs, and also social networking and apps
