There's also a fascinating documentary on Netflix called 'Only the Dead', which is absolutely worth a watch.

It's extremely graphic and brutal, as it's by and about an Australian war correspondent who spent seven years in Iraq, but it's nothing a day on here won't have prepared you for, so I'd seriously recommend giving it a watch, if you're at all into war films.

That was actually the point. If you analyze it, we the audience are supposed to be cheering for the violent deaths of each Nazi, and yet the Nazis are shown as cheering for the violent deaths of their own enemies.

The audience is no better than the people they enjoy seeing get killed. This is especially obvious when "the bear jew" makes his first appearance.

Also, this is just me extrapolating but the Bear Jew's voice was high-pitched and not at all masculine-sounding for someone called "the Bear Jew." He wasn't even that tall or muscular, just some average guy with a bat.

So the heroes of the movies are actually the villains to humanity in general, and nothing is learned from either side.

Brad Pitt's character and Hans Landa were the only characters worth watching the movie for, although the initial scenes with the French Jewess and the Nazi war hero crushing on her were pretty cute.
