>>689084917
None of those are right, this weighs a room temperature container holding a room temperature, pressurized substance. It is like any other scale but it used for a specific purpose.
It weighs a heavy object (~15-50 pounds) and detects changes in weight by the ounce. These changes tell us how much (a substance) have been removed or added to the container

>>689087817
>>689087930
Closest yet. Not a filter or any part of a well pump but you're in the right industry
It's unlikely this will be guessed so I'll reveal.
It is a well point or drive point, it's heavy and about 2 feet long. You rub a bar of soap over it and it gets caught in those holes, then you drive it into the ground with another tool to dig a well. Nowadays nobody has wide wells. They have a hole the size of a pipe and a pump to pull water up

The other tool is a heavy steel cylinder with a handle on top and a lead core in the top end. You smash this into the well point to get it into the ground and the water table.

And also the scale in the OP pic measures weights of refrigerant cylinders.
As you release refrigerant from it's cylinder, the weight changes, which tells you how much has been released and charged into a different cylinder, or a refrigeration system.
>pic related
>>
>>689086856

The scale's for refrigerant cylinders, so that you can charge the system with a specific amount. The sight glass has a chemical indicator to detect moisture.

Also if you remember from the last thread I mentioned a set of rods used to find where to put the well point. They are dowsing rods.
They're some paranormal thing, I think it's BS but ever place I've worked for has used them if they had no other resources to find water.
You hold them parallel and they both spread away from each other when you're standing over water. Always works, seems higher than chance

IT CAN act as a router but that's not what it's for.

CMTS and router are essentially 2 different things.

CMTS goes out to an edge router which connects to the circuits you are using.

ProTools interface of some sort. I don't keep up on specific makes/models.

I was interested in ProTools but iLok and the subscription system just turned me right off.

I wasn't here for last thread, however I didn't remember their name, but I immediately knew what those rods were used for. Cool stuff.

It's not an actual interface, it's just a pre.

The avid interface has and always will be the 192io. It only takes line level inputs however so this gives you the mic pres needed if you're not coming out of some other pre or a board

Yeah one of our front loaders is like that, if you're not paying attention it can dump the bucket while you're driving along. Learnt my lesson after I had to fix up a chunk of road I dug up with the buckets teeth

We had a Case skidsteer that had a seatbelt and harness bullshit, if you hit a damn bump and it through your arms forward that mf would toss you around in the cab like a ball. Only way to stop was to letgo of the sticks. I never liked Case machines after that.

No. However the legs shown in that picture are the same that are used on survey equipment for levels/transits/total stations etc. which are used to measure distance.
