The main feature of the game broke it for me. The rifts spawning during non peak times and in mid level area meant entire areas were death traps for my solo toon.

Quest givers dead, packs of baddies stacked so tight you can't tell how many you are charging. I had to stop, it wasn't a bad game but without some friends to level with it was like insta-logout when rift spawned on my current hub.

blade&soul:
The combat system is nice and this is one of the best combat systems I have seen.

but B&S also have a system where you have to upgrade your weapons. around level 20 you need to upgrade it with an epic weapon that only drops in a dungeon. If you have bad luck you have to grind the dungeon until you get your weapon, and there is no way skipping this weapon.

Also the dungeon system sucks because you have to bid on the loot you want and if you win you have to pay that to your party members. If you have a dick in your party he will keep bidding on the items so that you have to pay much more.

Answered a message to do the weekly missions and gained so much money, gear and levels it was laughable.

The guy messaged me a week later and we did it all again.

Between missions and weeklys I got to max lvl in 3 weeks, by only ever speaking to 1 person.

PvP was really fun untill I hit max level then it just became impossibly hard and really not fun.

Quit when my month was up.

I feel like I missed out on what is probably a great ORPG.

I'd reccomend some older mmorpgs like wow and rs for the sole reason that they're immersive and the veterans are friendly.
Tough you need to realize that you will probably never reahch the level of somwonew who is playig yheese for a long time without mad grind.
But they are chill games.
Like if you wanna grow potatoes or apples you can do that in rs. Or you can lead an attack on the vampye empire, whatever floats your boat y'know.
