I found a program called "dr. fone" which auctually scraped the phone for pictures that were deleted. seemed to work (find the cracked version. regular one wont let you recover, only scan). the interface looks like junkware but it appeared to work pretty good. i am not familar enough with connecting the phone up and having it appear as a drive for a normal recovery program to scan.
