I had only went in to buy screens at the time, so it wasn't really on my radar. But next time I go in there, I'm probably going to pick it up. I just need something effective and discreet.

It will work for a dab rig but isn't ideal. You'll need to get yourself an attachment to make that go from an angle to a straight up and down. You don't want to be taking your dabs at an angle.

Ill be honest I haven't ever bought an expensive peice. I started of smoking blunts but I have many friends who love dabs or jus plain expensive brand name glass with extra percs. You're not supposed to break them 30 days after you buy them. It's not really an issue buying a $200-300 dollar piece if you can make it last 3+ years. If you go around breaking all your shit I could see not wanting to spend that kind of money though. That smooth hit is what seasoned smokers are after. You're asking one of the age old smoker questions my friend. It's all about your preferences. I personally will take 3 to 5 smaller drags releasing the carb in between each. This keeps the entirety of the hit combined with fresh air which helps to kill the harshness.

The main difference between a steamroller and a spoon is the amount of airspace. You can take multiple hits in a row before exhaling using a spoon. I'd recommend a steamroller though.

If at all possible, never buy a bong before you see it in person. It's okay to order online, but try to at least find a shop that carries it first. If a good headshop won't bother to carry at least the same brand, it's probably not worth your time.

I don't see anything immediately wrong with that particular piece, and 7mm is plenty thick. It's glass on glass, which is great.

The only problem I see is that it doesn't look like there's a diffused downstem on it so if you don't buy one or gets some beads or something your hits will probably not be very smooth.

Overall, not bad, but you can probably find better for the price.

A carb is a hole you use to clear your smoke instead of pulling out the slide. You seem them on regular pipes, it's the thing you cover with your thumb. It's that giant black piece on the side by the bottom, that's a rubber plug. You pull it out and there's a hole drilled in the side of the glass. It's mildly useful if you have crazy ashcatchers with no slides or something but it's a stress point for the glass plus the plug is something to lose.

That's not a bad slide but the one that comes with the bong actually looks a little better.

I have the green version of this and its a beauty. I like the carbhole, and use it along with sliding my ashcatcher for a bigger rush of air when I take the hit.

Its fucking solid, I had a slighter taller grace before this one and it can take some damage, it finally only broke from a heavy fall off a table right onto it's joint. These bongos are sexy and well made dude

Did read a lot of good reviews regarding them. I do like the idea of being able to pull it out after taking a hit and get more air in. It was the main thing I was looking for whilst browsing for a bong.
Also buying liquid cleaner same brand as the bong to keep it fresh.

The liquid cleaners sold for bongs are a rip off, you're better off buying your own isopropyl alcohol (70-100%) or baking soda and boiling water with a bong brush.

If you use a precooler and change your water everyday you're bong will stay a lot fresher. How often you wanna clean it depends on how much you smoke and how much you care about the appearance. Good maintenance has meant it's only got ever got dirty enough to warrant it a few times

I clean all my pieces every 2 weeks when I pick up a new bag. I just use plain old 93% (higher is better but most stores only carry 91-93) alcohol and some regular salt, super cheap, works great.
