You might need to consider a dripper, or maybe change the PG/VG balance of your juice. The more PG you have, the more "throat hit" you get. my current juice of choice is a locally made tobacco flavor that is 70%PG. You really feel it in the back of your throat.

Like I said above, a good, local vape shop -not some shitty convenience store- is you best bet to find what you like. They'll have lots of flavors and blends you can try before you buy. And you should ALWAYS try before you buy.

How much don't you care about cost? I own a few $200+ setups since I manage a shop.
But as for getting into it or even later on, I can't recommend the smok h- priv or wismec rx200 enough. They will both run you about $40 and have more power than you will ever need really, difference is the priv is a dual batt while the RX is a triple batt.
Now if you want a solid pull or cloud production, get an RDA. A good one. Some of the best imo are The Goon, the Mason, Kennedy, any made by Avid Lyfe, the subzero and the roughneck. You will get better taste and a bigger pull than you ever will with a tank.
If you want something high dollar and flashy as well as top of the line, check out hyons, roundhouse, ruby, Avid Lyfe, stabilized wood boxes, and limitless

So if your looking for a box, the two I mentioned are really good. Also in the same vein would be the snow wolf but I don't like how it pulses above 150 watts, just feels weird. The priv goes to 220, and the rx to 250 but you'll probably stick under 200 watts anyway. The sigelei 213 is also a high watt device and looks pretty smooth, check them all out and compare. So as for mechs, however low your coil is determines how hard they hit. I like using a .07 ohm coil with a high amp rated battery. Thats important when you go down that low, just review ohms law. hyons are limited edition with cool designs, low as voltage drop so your using your battery to its full potential, but they're limited edition and finding one for sale is a pain. Limitless and Ables (avidlyfe) have changeable sleeves so you can change up the look, and they're hybrid mods which means instead of a connector pin, the rda connects straight to your battery, almost no voltage drop.
On mechs, you want your contacts to be highly conductive metals like copper, silver or gold if you can find one. Most clones have steel contacts, hence the hate for them. Some clones perform very well, its good to do research and use common sense. On to rda's, if you don't know how to build, most shops will build you a dope flavor coil for $5 to $10 depending on complexity. RDA''s are nice because while you have to redrip, it's only about every 7 pulls, and the flavor and cloud-making benefits are worth it.

This applies to everyone including op, the cheapest hardest hitting vape right now is the noisy cricket at $20 to $25. Now it's a series mechanical so you just press a button and determine output with your coil, but your running 8.4 volts as opposed to 4.2 on a single batt, so you want your build to be at .2 ohm or higher generally as to not stress your batteries. It's a great mod, but many people abuse it and you can blow it up a few ways if you try. Don't put your Batts in backwards, don't stress them too much, and don't use a tank and you'll be just fine!
