The show is horrible to all. The traumatic event for Sansa effectively turned her into a sociopath. Whereas with Danny she developed Stockholm syndrome and fell in love with the Khal. Arya was just a badass all along.

Tyrion was betrayed. Theon was tortured. Jamie was abused. Then their characters changed. Tyrion is now apathetic and full of spite, theon is a shadow of himself, and Jamie is severely weakened.

If you want to bullshit any feminist crap about this show call it empowering. Many characters are abused, only the women grow stronger.

Better way to put things OP, is that S6 is the season of the writers getting to write what they want, and they have no clue how to tell a story or write. They're off of G.R.R.M.'s storyline and they're deviating from it further and further each episode.
