Honest answer is sometimes. I work at a law office that get these settlements for injured clients.

The part that I work on is a RESTful microservice layer that handles interest computations, some account balance stuff, etc. When a user logs into their virtual portfolio through our app, the browser sends a few secure GETS and POSTS to our back-end servers and then loads the page with relevant data. Since I write these endpoints, I could do a data dump on all account info before it gets hashed and sent back to the browser as JSON. Then I could sift through the data and find account #s with large balances, SSH into our production DB instance on AWS and find the rest of that account's information (interest payout settings, etc) and manually update these values before our next weekly deployment so that everything goes into a checking account that I've made. Since our users only check on their portfolios once every quarter (generally speaking, since that's when all of the returns get finalized and posted), I would be able to get away with this for about 4 months as long as I started at the right time. This could easily be anywhere from $100-500 million spread across several checking accounts, and I could blow it all before I got arrested (which I definitely would be, since it would be extremely obvious that I did what I did).

That means I make about 16.5k a year after tax if we base my income on the times of the year that I have the least PT work.
During summer, xmas and the new year I work about 25 hours a week in the gym, that is £3000 a month before tax.
And I tell the tax man about some of the hours I work during peak, which maybe isn't completely legal.

After you get a fair share of the market, you start adding carcinogens to the food while you also have a very expensive cancer clinic. People who have the money will be sucked dry as usually small countries cant afford to help cancer patients at all.

With this method you can force business for your company while also getting money from normal food sales and having the cancer clinic.
