Having trouble with this problem. Is the answer that there isn't enough information available to complete it?
>>
>>687772955
There is. Make some 90 degree triangles.
>>
>>687773230
Still clueless. Where would I make the 90 degree triangles?
>>
>>687773607
You have 2 angles. Finish the triangle and then just keep going. That's the way I would do it.

But I'm 2/3 loaded and am not thinking very hard. I might be wrong. It's all I can do to pick out store fronts.
>>
>>687773856
Is the answer 166?
>>
Oh! Dumb me! I forgot to say! The question is to solve the measurement for angle A.
>>
>>687772955
It's going to be 360 degrees total. 134 and 60 make 194 so 166 total left. I don't remember algebra so good luck.
>>
>>687773988
What answer? If anything from the pic there are 2 answers.
>>
not enough info. you need a side length or two

83?
>>
taking note. wait a little...
>>
>>687774035
You can not achieve that if you don't have any information about lengths.
>>
Is it just me, or does angle B not even look like a right angle
>>
>>687774288
This, OP
>>
>>687774035
Make a triangle from C to A. Cuts 134 in half. A triangle totals 180 degrees. After finding that you double and it's 106 degrees.
>>
Nigga you can make a 30-60-90 out of that bottom corner. Subtract dat 30 from the other known angle, then sketch in other 90 degree angles.

Boom! Partial credit, done-zo. Time to get stoned, fuck geometry
>>
>>687774288

Woo! Op was right.
>>
>>687774491
C to A might not divide C exactly in half

Cut the square in half to make 2 triangles

Cut from c to a
half of c is 67
67+60=127
180-127=53
53*2=106
angle a = 106 degrees
>>
>>687774491
That don't look like a regular polygon to me cockface
>>
>>687774771
don't the little red lines mean A and B are the same angle?
>>
>>687774736
Fuck. You're right. I've been out of school too long.
>>
>>687774945
No. They just mean that they are an angle.
>>
>>687774771
Same reasoning I used but it's flawed.

Think about it like this. You have to assume the shape is not to scale, which is why you have to solve mathematically.

In both the left and right drawings, the angles 134 and 60 are satisfied. But the other two angles can change freely while still keeping to the conditions of the original problem (I gave extreme examples, but remember that the figure is assumed to NOT be to scale).

Since the shape isn't bound by any other parameters, there's no one solution. Both A and B can be anything from 0 to 166, as long as they satisfy A+B=166
>>
>>687774771
this is wrong. You can't tell with your current info.

You need more information,
>>
>>687774771
That is dumb, you cant know that the line from halved angle c will reach exactly a and split the angle a in half, bad troll or stupid
>>
>>687774771
why is it half of c?
>>
>>687775084
this is right.
>>
>>687772955
The red lines indicate that corner A and corner B are the same, and since a parallelograms angle sums up to 360, you just subtract the given angles and divide the remainder by two:

360 - 134 - 60 = 166
166/2 = 83

Angle A = Angle B = 83
>>
>>687775085
>>687775092
>>687775108
>>687775065
Yeah you guys are right. My bad
>>
>>687774196
yep
>>
>>687772955
just thing of it this way:

make any line segment with lenght given as static, and any given angle static, can you move any angles without resizing any static edges, or resize free edges without modifying static angles?

in this pic you clearly can, so you dont have enough information to find all edges = or all angles

>>687774431
tipically in trigonometry problems, the acutal drawing angle is to be ignored

you must solve mathmatically, not by measuring the fraking paper
>>
>>687775166
Bust out the protractors!
>>
>>687775166
this is wrong. red lines don't mean anything.
>>
>>687775166
this might be right, it depends on how the problem was created. If you are just stumped OP I'd say this is your best option
>>
>>687772955
Yeah there's not enough information.
Think if CB's line increased in length by 30 time how drastically that could change the angle of B and A but would have no effect on C and D
And you can;t make a right angle triangle out of a 134 degree angle, 90+134 is greater than 180.

Thanks everyone! I figured that I couldn't answer it. Here's another one I'm clueless about.
>>
>>687775351
This isn't wrong; actually it is the correct mathematical appellation.
>>
>>687775581
The question is to find the measurement for angle K. What do I do?
>>
>>687775616
x= (360-3x)/3 i think
>>
>>687775581
are you fucking kidding me? dont do this fags homework guys, he should try and pass grade 6 by himself.
>>
>>687775615
No it's not. Those lines just mean it's an angle. That's fucking retarded. I do not how to calculate the answer. But even I know you're wrong.
>>
>>687775581
70+65=135
360 - 135 = 225
X + 2X = 225.
That one is simple.
>>
>>687774196
Definitely 83
>>
>>687775762
But it's 5am, I'm high as fuck, and I want to see if I still remember how to do this shit
>>
>>687775166
your solution is right, but i would cange parallelograms to quadrilateral, becouse there is a quadrilateral on picture not a parallelogram
>>
>>687775581
360-65-70-3x=0, 225=3x, x=75

x=75?
>>
>>687775581
Same solution, Parallelogram => sum of angles is 360

70 + 65 + 2x + x = 360
3x = 360 - 70 - 65 = 225
x = 225/3 = 75

angle K = 2*x = 2*75 = 150
(angle L = x = 75)
>>
>>687772955

You know that sum of red angles is 360-134-60 but you can't get each angle.
>>
>>687775867

This is the right answer.
>>
>>687775997
The red angles are the same

x=75

>>
>>687774035
All the corner degrees in total is 360 degrees. Since A and B are the same size, that means that A=360-C+D(÷2)
That means 360-194÷2, which is 166÷2, that is 83 degeees.

Yes, but I think I've learned. Like someone said, it really is best that I do it myself & even already had a good idea of the answer. You're just obviously uncertain in situations where the answer is you can't answer, because there's obviously a part of you that thinks you're missing something.

There is 360 degrees in a quadrilateral.
You have two angles that are unknown but are also the same. Then you have one 134 angle and a 60 angle 360 - 134 - 60 = 166 166/2 = 83
Both of those angles are 83.
MFW Idiots trying to use triangles
>>
>>687772955
