If it doesn't go away with head and shoulders or stuff like that you need ketoconazole shampoo because you have a fungal infection on your scalp . It's prescription you put it in your hair when you first get in the shower, do all your other washing (leave it in for 5 minutes) then wash it out. It'll disappear in 3 days but you should finish the bottle to make sure it's 100% gone.

It may not be dandruff. I've always had flakes and it was something called cradle cap. Doctor described it as a yeast infection of the scalp. Go to a dermatologist to get medicine for it. Mine calmed down a lot.
