Basically there was a diffirent harem girl introduced in the first season and then in the second season it was just a plethora of sexual/incestual tension that was just pointless and confusing. Probably says a lot about the creator. In my opinion he should have ended up with Silica. She was sweet.

One major reason is because the characters were realistic in that they conveyed their feelings through their actions rather than through random unnatural speeches as most anime characters do.
Its a lesson from western art that the Japanese need to embrace more fully.

Glad you enjoyed it. Always has been my favorite. Tried to introduce it to my brother, who had never watched it before despite being way more into anime than myself. Dont think he liked it as much, kinda feel like the episodic nature of the show turned him off.
