A slow death would means that the heart stops pumping blood leading to the exhaustion of the bits that the brain needs to do it's thing. Terrifying. I still have nightmares about it. Basically some guy tried to drown me. I remember my lungs filling with water because he held me down long enough for my body to force me to take a deep inhale. I died and was resuscitated after a car accident.

It's hard to think where the universe came from. Where DID it come from? It's a confusing question that has many answers and even thinking about possible answers makes you think how grant that shit is. So far we're the only sentient life that we know of in the observable universe. Small yes, but considering that it's 92 billion lightyears in diameter it's difficult to think that we're the only things that are capable of seeing so far yet finding nothing.

In the grant scheme of the universe, our lifetimes are insignificant. It's sad to think about. I'd like to think that there's something after you die, but I cannot see any possible way for that to be true.

I've already invested cryonics, the only realistic way to live a longer 'life'. Untested and unproven as it is, it's a chance and a chance that i'm willing to take considering the opposite is nothingness.
