If you're in Australia you may just not be able to answer this but Ill give it a go.
I just recently got an immigrant visa approved for the US, just gotta wait for it to get to me via mail.
My question tho is, when I get there I will get US resident status? When do I get my green card, if I do at all?
I read there is a difference between permanent and conditional residency and if so what makes it different?
And lastly, who long do I have to wait and what do I have to do to become a US citizen? And is it true that I cant leave the country at all until I get a permanent residency?
