Tomorrow is Memorial Day in the US, when people stop to remember veterans who gave their lives in service to the nation.
The honor guard, made up of servicemen from each branch of the US military, in full uniform, accompany the deceased and stay with them until they are buried and the earth is leveled at the gravesite.
When the marine was giving that flag to the kid, this is what he said to the boy:
"On behalf of the President of the United States, the Commandant of the Marine Corps, and a grateful nation, please accept this flag as a symbol of our appreciation for your loved one’s service to Country and Corps. God bless you and this family, and God bless the United States of America."

Friend R is your friend or her friend? Wait, when you meet her in person later, ask her out for a coffee (nothing more), but make sure nobody's around. Don't let your plans be ruined by someone else. Maybe she has some things she has to make right first. Give her time, but let her know in a subtle way that you're interested. Tell her that whenever she'd like, you're always up for a coffee/tea/whatever that's not explicitly going out together.

I told her I love her on her bday last week. She said she don't feel the same. Now she can't look at me. Last friday she took sick day in work and txted me about this 30min before going there (i drive her everyday to work, but now it became awkward that she know I love her and that I know I'm rejected) and I heard from people in work she asked them recently about switching jobs. I knew she wanted todo this and that was actually the reason we became friends. We used to walk around city to agancies and look for work together and on the way we went for cofe or restaurants.
