When I was a little kid, I used to have this absolutely fucking monumental tibetian mastiff X Siberian Husky dog that was the sweetest, most gentle creature I've ever met in my entire life. His only flaw is that he liked to drool when it got hot out, but otherwise was lovely in all facets. He loved to cuddle, was very protective in a very calm way, and was ultimately the best dog I've ever had. Found him passed away in front of the fireplace one evening. Took him out and buried him in the countryside.

I have a male Rhodesian Ridgeback, Would recommend.
Very good family dog, good with children, visitors and other dogs, reasonable cost of living, food wise, due to mid size and build.
By nature they only bark at unusual sounds, if I hear mine barking, it's for a reason.
Extremely intimidating, very loud deep bark, showing of teeth and of course the razor back, very aggressive and energized when protecting family / property. Will not back down from a conflict. very good watch dog, as intelligent enough not to bark at common noises, kids playing, mailman etc, but will warn of an intruder very early.

I honestly think my Johnson American Bulldog can kill any dog here.

At 6 months old he carried a Pit XL up a flight of stairs by his throat to murder him

By 2 years he was 135 lbs about 30 inches tall and could hop over a 10 foot wall

He's too quick and savage for the giant breeds and too strong and huge for the pitbull/rottweilers

I've been offered huge amounts of money for him at bully shows but hes really my bf

Yes and no... Packs of wolves do bring down bears so it isn't a stretch a group of well trained dogs could hold the line long enough a human gets to escape or shoot... Granted you would be losing some dogs... In practical terms if you're alone and on foot/sled in some stretches of wilderness I'd imagine they would work more as deterrence, someone experienced might correct me but I don't thionk a group of large dogs, like Huskies or Malamutes would be hard to spot for bears and unless in unusual circumstances (eg starving) I don't think a bear would approach. Yes I'm sure there's been instances...
