I didn't get a PSone (the small gray one with the top loading lid that opened) until 2000, and I remember reading that Mikami didn't think it was possible to port it until they tried it and it worked, or something like that. Oh, fuck, I loved this game. I remember you'd get little "companions" along the way during the game and you had to keep them calm otherwise they'd desert or kill themselves. It was a simulator, but it was fun. I'd stay up all night and do missions to Pluto, and then to other galaxies. You'd lay the coordinates in and the ship would fly there. You had to do course corrections every now and then, and then you'd also get new instructions from Mission Control as time went on. Not a lot went on, but it was fun, and it made me feel smart.
