I'm a part-time cashier.
The store manager is a dickhead.
I work my ass off every shift, but that doesn't matter.
I get 8 hours week, and sometimes go a week unscheduled.
I have bills to pay, but my store manager does not give a flying fuck.
That's what gets me: the lack of hours.

I'm a sales associate but titles don't really mean anything. If you need to run a register you run it, need help in the back, go back there, etc. On top of needing to finish putting away freight, helping customers, and generally cleaning the area. Constantly moving with little downtime, gets tiring, even if the work isn't very skill intensive.
