I have basically gotten to the point where I've given up. Entirely... only a few things keep me going, but eventually I'm just gonna go ahead and do it. I'm done living to be honest, its horse shit... Drinking doesn't even help me anymore, theres no point in trying to become a functioning person, some people are just broken and need to be culled.
To answer your question, theres no dealing with it, you can tell yourself you're going to eventually be normal, but you never are, you continue to wade through your own personal darkness... and even the best qualities of yourself are a sick twisted consequence of your unending suffering. Social Darwinism dictates even in civilized societies, the weak must fall and die so that people who can survive in the society can live on.
in closing, hope is an illusion, you either have the ability to lie to yourself and say everything is ok, or you don't. I don't, I held out long enough, but everything comes to an end. I hope you can hold out longer, maybe theres a medication to numb you... for me it isn't anything that can, so I fall through the cracks.
