The 47 my bullpup used was a Romanian 47 made in the 60s. My father has a MAK-90 and the difference between the two are night and day, mine is heavier than his. Where as a Barrett .50 bmg takes a long time to regain target acquisition the .50 beowulf can lob nearly half a clip at a target by time a barrets second shot is going down range.

The .50 beowulf can throw a 500 grain bullet at near 2000 fps. Having nearly 1.5 times the energy output as a .223. Sure, .223 will pierce body armor and steel plates. The .50 beowulf goes through engine blocks.

yes, 10mm is a great piercing round. however its energy output is substantially lower. a .50 beowulf can be shot at nearly the same speed and easily double the energy output. It wont lose velocity as quickly when passing through objects.

I can even load my round pretty hot and start getting up to 2,300-2,400 fps at that point that 500 grain bullets start pushing 5,000 ft·lbf. That is an extreme amount of energy being carried. Of course i lose accuracy drastically when its hot loaded like that but 50-75 yards should still be quite accurate and if i was using a tungsten carbide round it would pass clean through a engine block and probably half way through another.

Im really not a fan of Berettas hand feel. Great gun, but i havnt found one thats comfortable enough to keep as a CC. Sold my M9 for a HK45 tact. Never been happier with any gun purchase ive ever made. Ive fired probably close to 20,000 rounds and literally never had a chambering issue with a round.

That was my problem too. When I was looking for a CC pistol. I was trying all kinds of different ones trying to find one that fit my hand. the 1911 was close but still felt off. ONe day at the pawn store I saw a Beretta and it felt great, but the guy wanted 700+ for it. Went home read up, two days later found the 101 for 300 at the same store. got it. I know a lot of people complain about them but I got lucky, the only time mine has ever had an problem was when I use reloads. But I was able to get around that but changing from brass to silver plated cases and the issues went away.

There is no federal law concerning the casting of of armor piercing rifle rounds. State could be different. Im only really familiar with Arkansas laws and its surrounding states concerning that. However, If some asshole gets ahold of you casting before you actually load your round he could technically charge for casting pistol rounds and you would most likely have to go to court to present your evidence on why its a rifle round. Most likely not going to happen though haha.
And casting lead is super easy. I built my forge with 10-15$ And you can get shit tons of lead for way cheap.The stuff to make your molds isnt that expensive either.

I use them trust me, Got my Nagant Sniper from a gun broker site for next to nothing. The pawn stores where I lived at the time wasnt a bad place to weapon hunt. They had some good prices on some of them(dad got a Russian SKS for 200 at one) It was a army town so the big names like Beretta, AK etc was over prices, but the off brands like Taraus etc was pretty cheap.
