They lay on their sides at the start, the surgeon will create a small incision along the side of the gum and peel the skin back, clean up blood, and then they will use a small drill to mill away the bone above the wisdom tooth. After that they will cut the wisdom tooth into two segments and will then suck them out with a small suction unit. I don't know what part of Europe that you live in, but here in the states, some dentists understand that people can tend to have a phobia of someone sticking needles and drills in their mouth, and so they have special offices where you can be completely sedated to have your work done.

Not OP but you need to brush after eating. Eating stuff will leave residue which the bacteria eats. The products of that bacteria is eroding your enamel, which is fucking up your shit.

So it makes a huge difference. You should brush before sleeping and not eat anything after because else the bacteria would have a lot of time in a perfect environment.
