Personality disorders can be proven even at a chemical level within the brain; however I do agree that a lot of people who are just little bitches use them as bullshit excuses. Also "addiction" to sex and anything else for that matter is entirely possible. Naa I was in the 1% of the group. My autism symptoms went away as soon as they got the tumor out, and even with the tumor I had what was known as "High functioning autism". Literally the only thing they said made me autistic was the fact that I had no desire to socialize. I could do it just fine. I just don't like people.
