You should feel it if they're real. I do have my suspicions on the legitimacy of those, I don't see any blue bruising, and the caps tend to be more of a golden color with purple gills. However looks wise they still could be legit. It takes awhile for the effects to hit though. Psilosybin isn't actually psychoactive like most people claim. However when it comes in contact with acid (stomach or even citric) it turns into psilocin, which is. So you have to wait for that conversion to happen (about 20 minutes, longer if you have eaten) then you have to let you body absorb it, (about 20 minutes, linger if you have eaten) if you don't feel anything in an hour and a half, they're bunk. But 2g is roughly what you need to see visuals, 1 will just make you giggly, with a sense of euphoria and heightened senses.

Hey my friend and welcome to the realm of psychedelics:D

While it's true that a good amount for newbies is 1g ish the effect of the shrooms differs from shroom to shroom, in fact it may be the same harvest and yet one mushroom might contain a significant larger amount of psylocibine and psylocine (the two substances that are needed for the high) , than the other what makes it hard to give general advices on dosage. However there are some ways of getting to know the right dosage:
1. Psylocibine turns blue on contact with oxygen --> if the shrooms have many blue spots they might be potent
2. Get to know your tolerance - everyone is different, start slow , you can always eat more

I am somewhat experienced with shrooms , the highest dosage I have taken were about 13 g which I ate throughout the whole day starting with 5 g, and I really felt amazing. I have to add though, my tolerance was really getting high, because I ate shrooms kinda frequently at that time.

Your shrooms look like mexicans to me, but then again, don't know how potent yours actually are.

I read about some racetrack in England that the center area was covered with shrooms. I'm guessing that they had covered it with some production byproduct (woodchips/sawdust/worthless grasses/etc.) to reduce maintenance costs and the shrooms moved in a few years later after a bit of decomposition.

those look legit to me, though I'm not an expert. I've done shrooms maybe a 8 or 9 times. I once did an eighth of fresh shrooms in Amsterdam from a head shop. There are actually a bunch of different psychoactive mushroom varieties, and in my experience the potency can vary greatly. There can be some stomach discomfort at first, I usually grind the shrooms up and eat them with food. I have heard that making a tea is a good way to go. It should begin as a really great weed high, and things may or may not progress beyond that. I have had visual hallucinations a few times, but usually I just get a heightening of colors and sensations. It can be pretty mentally exhausting as most of my trips last a good 6 hours, sometimes more.
