There's little or nothing historical about them. The blueprints still exist, and more of them could be made at a moment's notice. The particular ones that the guy inherited were likely not used by anyone famous.
So in the end, they are much like anything old. Wooden spinning tops, funny breakfast cereals, old cartoons. Nostalgic value, at best. At worst, shallow and baseless idol worship.
