With most people, they use only a few programs 99% of the time, yet you give all programs equal real estate.

If you hit windows key and type in a couple letters, you will be searching your programs. Personally pin nothing to my task bar and I have no icons on my desktop.


I put my start menu in full screen mode and place all my programs that I actually use in my start menu.

Start menu comes up when you tap Windows key so basically all programs can be found by hitting windows key.

The ones I use frequently, it's just "windows key, then look and click the program. "

And for programs I don't use often, it's "windows key, type couple letters, look, and click program."


I keep everything clutter free and organized into logical groups. Real style comes from design with a purpose.

Most of these guys never spent more than 5 mins configuring things since they upgraded to Windows 10. They just download shit and throw it anywhere. Good looks comes from a design made with intent for both form and function.

Also, take off all the bullshit that windows normally puts in your start menu.

Windows 10 default is ass.

Also learn to use the multiple desktops. Hit windows key + tab and then at the bottom you an add multiple desktops. Open programs and spread them out so you aren't going to the task bar and fumbling through your open programs. It will make a one monitor setup feel almost as good as multiple monitor.
