Honestly,

I prefer reddit. The memes are danker and the overall community is much more supportive. I've been through some hard times and my reddit friends were really there for me. Plus they don't judge me when I come out as gender fluid.

I use both reddit and 4chan daily. I like the material you get from reddit, I can get current events on pretty much any topic. The community is so fucking full of itself though its sickening. I can say the same about the 4chan community but at least they know it and they make me laugh.

Some of the lesser known subs have amazing community's as well, take r / spacex for example it just couldn't be a better place to find information and talk to people with similar interests. The default subs are still cancer though

Well, to me, reddit is a little bit like this. The more well thought out and genuine the answer the more it makes me cringe as it feels as if the person posting is not answering for fun or to form a discussion but to curry favor with others.

Theyre all a bunch a fucking sheeps and white knights. They worry more about their appearance and what is socially acceptable instead of telling the truth. They also promote speech censorship to information if they dont agree with it. Ill give you examples of division subreddit:

Everyone is posting all the bugs in the game and how massive isnt fixing a large list of game breaking elements. But when a massive employ responds everyone gets in line to suck dick. Those who respond with wtf is up with this and that attracts more white knights than the kkk.

When someone informs the thread of a glitch people have been exploiting (and the dozens of youtube videos) they scream about how it should be censored on the threads to "stop people from exploiting" because ignoring and staying quiet about it for months will apparently resolve it.

Massive also have moderators in their pockets and theyve been starting to shut down threads that spread word of game breaking bugs. One was shut down previously about backpacks all of a sudden fitting more than normal and then you get an error that deletes your character. Massive deleted it on their forums of ppl complaining and then reddit started to as well but it couldnt be controlled so they stopped trying. But theyre still locking other threads and deleting anyones post that informs others of things that are breaking in order to protect them from bad publicity. Its not really working out so they had to hire a wave of mods recently for it.

This is just an example so you are clear on how they operate.

Censorship of information. White knights. Unpopular opinions are downvoted or deleted. Mods control what gets posted if it gives bad publicity to who gives them money.

Don't know enough about it to have a full opinion but It's probably better than /b/.

It's about as shitty as 4chan but for different reasons. I come here because it's what I'm used to and I don't see a significant enough reason to switch. Karma is gay and their sjw shit is so annoying.
That said /b/, miraculously, gets worse day after day, year after year. So I can't blame anyone for switching over. Why they won't make a trap board and a fur board is beyond me.
