What is the attraction to this moron, America?
Is it just because Hillary's an obnoxious, corrupt, cunt and you will always vote for a Democrat even if they both suck?
What do you think Sanders will do besides rant for 4 years?
>>
>>684649730
being a foreigner you may not be aware of this, but Hillary is actually a woman.

I know, right? shocking.
>>
>>684649956
>Hillary is actually a woman

LOL!
Doubtful.
>>
I dig him because he's the only major candidate still running who believes in government for the people and by the people. Hillary is an oligarchist, Trump is an oligarch. Sanders is the only lower-case republican or democrat running right now.
>>
>>684649730
The main idea is that Sanders has the ideas that people can back.
>Relocation of tax dollars into stuff that ACTUALLY matters
>Protection of environment for generations to come
>Restrictions on super wealthy so that they don't constantly gain more benefits over and over.
>Increase spending on homeless, impoverished, and overall well-being of Americans
>Reformation of prison system, immigration, government spending, tax rates, welfare, college education rates, and healthcare.

IMO and anyone else that truly follows what Sanders does, it's not free stuff. It's looking at a reallocation and fixation of money that is already being spent, but spending on stuff that actually helps rather than deters.

>What is the attraction to this moron, America?
He actually believes what he says, because he's been saying it for decades and decades, and isn't bought by the wealthy - unlike Trump and Shillary.

And because his policies are economically sound, contrary to what ignorant cuckservatives will tell you.
>>
a president may not be able to accomplish everything they want, but I'd rather have someone there who has shown through their entire life and career to actually care about what happens to regular people - rather than someone who's just there for their own glory and ego and power trip (i.e. Hillary OR Trump - both who only want to be president to be president, not to actually do anything to help normal people.)
>>
CANT STUMP THE TRUMP
>>
>>684650441
I'm glad you think the rich Americans that have the money to do these things will just willingly give up their wealth instead of leaving the country like the rich French and Germans did respectively.
>>
>>684650441

He ain't running for Dictator. Nobody really wants this shit.
>>
>>684650441
>IMO and anyone else that truly follows what Sanders does, it's not free stuff.
This.

Sanders is literally the only sane choice. Shillary is a robot who was programmed to achieve power. Trump has no real plans, and is basically winging it from interview to interview. Nothing he says he believes in right now matters, because he can just flip flop and call it "negotiating".

Just like he won't build a wall. He will, at best, build a mesh-wire fence and hire a few extra border patrol cops. That's it.
>>
>>684650740
Think about it like this... America is THE top market in the world. They leave now, they lose the market. One of Sanders' focus is to look into how to stop loopholes like outsourcing/cheap labor. "Rich Americans" have the money for it. If they didn't, they shouldn't have their condos, their mansions, their golf parks, their own limousines, maids/butlers, etc.
>>
>>684650740
And go where? This infinite race to the bottom of taxation will never, ever be won. There will always be some tiny country that can just lower it another percentage point.

It's perfectly possible to raise taxes and keep the wealthy, if it's financially beneficial to stay - and it most certainly can be.

Bullshit. Every single fucking sanders supporter you ever talk to will always say "free college" or "free healthcare" as their main reason for voting for him. 100% of the fucking time. The only time people don't say this is when they're called out on it.

Yes they do. As a matter of fact the majority does.
>>
>>684650573
Yeah that's one of my favorite things about Sanders. He's been in congress just kind of hanging out and chilling for 20 years, making his way as an independent but backing a lot of other bills and not trying to force much through on his own. He saw that bitch was on track to become president and thought "hm...maybe I can stop that."

We don't need power hungry semi-fascists like Trump or Hillary, we need someone who will restore the presidency to being the executor of congress' wishes.

>>
>>684650854
Surprisingly, yes people DO want this "shit."

College debt ranges from 30-40k per student average.
Environments are being destroyed daily due to fracking, abuse of land, constantly bombardments of weapons that cause irreparable damage.
Immigration in general needs to be reformed as it takes 7-10 years for someone to legally enter the U.S. and become a citizen, where others are less time ranges. The rich get richer, and the poor get or stay poor. That's an unbalanced system.
>>
>>684651414
Actual conservatives don't use the word cuck or any variation of it.
>>
>>684650441
It's not relocation you fucking retard. His tax plan starts at 9% MORE payroll taxes for the lowest earners and goes up. He is a complete idiot that never got ANYTHING passed in 25 years in congress other than renaming a couple of post offices. Google "what did Bernie Sanders do in Congress" and read whatever liberal nutshit website you want. Nothing he co-sponsored ever passed in 25 fucking years. TERM LIMITS are designed to keep these fucking losers OUT because they aren't doing ANYTHING but wasting our tax money. Jesus you fucking Bernie supporters are as fucking dumb as they get.

Also, let's say you wanted to allocate just 80 billion dollars over 10 years to JUST college education. There are around 320 million people. So 8 billion per year, over 10 years, per person is 25 dollars PER person to pay for 80 billion dollars into JUST college education. There is no excuse when 80 billion gets spent almost monthly on military/"defense".
>>
It Bernie by some miracle won the primary, it would be a free win for Trump because "NeverTrump" republicans sure as hell won't vote for Sanders. Hillary has a chance only because she's objectively better than Trump.

And wasted 25 years in Congress doing absolutely nothing. Name one bill he co-sponsored that passed, in 25 fucking years. That's why we need term limits. For these fucking nutjobs who might believe what he says. He was just praising economic successes of Venezuela only 3-4 years ago. Imagine what this fucking asshole idiot could do if he actually could pass laws? We'd be jumping the borders to Mexico and Canada. My god you people are fucking stupid.

>I make up flaws in people because I can't actually disagree with them
When I say Trump has few to no plans, I'm not making that up. When I say Shillary is bought and paid for by the wealthy, I'm not making it up. When you people come at Bernie with "herp derp socialist = bad xD" you're just making shit up. You're playing to the old Red Scare. "Socialism" as most people understand it clearly works, and is just a matter of how much we want the state to handle. The state can build roads and fight wars just fine. Not perfectly, but more than competently. It's not destined to fail if the government was to take over healthcare, for instance.

No, you fucking moron. I understand that these things people claim to be "free" are not free. I'm the one saying that "free" college won't be free because it comes from taxpayers. In fact, it even comes from tax increases for the poor and poverty stricken.

It's the Sandersfags who don't understand the difference and fucking claim they won't have to pay a penny because it's the rich people who will do it for them.

I'd rather have a man who believes what he says accomplish nothing, than a paid stooge "accomplish" giving more to the wealthy - which is all the other politicians are concerned with at that level. Almost fucking blatantly so. They don't hide the fact that they take millions and billions of dollars from the wealthy. You think those money come with no strings attached? You think Trump and Shillary won't give favours for the countless millions they're raising? Please.

But, of course, this means anyone making more than 15k a year will be paying an additional 2% in income taxes, and their wages will be lower because of an additional 2% payroll tax on their company. Fixing it, by what means? The administration in colleges has skyrocketed, professor get laid down and decreased constantly, the entire fucking thing is a mess. By really looking at the system, making more scholarships/grants/etc available, people have a chance to actually gain an education. I'm for a system that doesn't completely cripple you with debt for 10-15 years after that. Except his economic policies don't mean shit unless we turn the house and the senate. The president doesn't have enough control for force through economic or social changes.

Bernie has a career showing that he's not overly power hungry and showing he's willing to work with the system from outside of it (the system being the Republican and Democratic congress.) Trump show his dictatorial nature by flaunting his disregard for international laws regarding torture while Hillary shows her dictatorial nature by trying to push us into Syria even through the public outcry. This country turned to shit when the president was the one we turned to to solve all of our problems, we need to make congress great again.

just got my CA ballot. Voting for Bernie because he's different and honestly this country and the world is ready for more socialism. I did the whole libertard phase and you know what? Liberty was great but we've gotten ourselves into a bad place. The robots are about to take over and unless we abandon silly, simplistic ideologies we will have a technological nightmare future. We need to consciously choose to control the path forward or we will end up in a very inhumane future. The time for a minimum income is now. I'm not saying go 100% full retard socialist(like bernie), but we have to do something. We have to chose the future we want and use the strength of our collective, conscious wills to make it happen. Yes there will be government stealing and thuggery. It is better than living homeless and praying that an amazon delivery bot drops a scrap of food for you.

That said, I'm voting for Gary Johnson or even Trump(if it looks like shillary will win) in the general election. If only my vote counted, though. I'm in CA so some superdelegate is going to pick whoever the fuck they want.

I've compared it to religious debates between different religions: It's people saying "My god is better than your god!" We have literally nothing except what candidates say and do to go off of, and the fact that money, capitalism, and greed exist means that it's entirely possible that any candidate could have their hands tied or be manipulated by money. Voting based on what seems like the "best choice" is all well and good, but I don't think any candidate is risk-free in this election.

From the Concise Encyclopedia of Economics, article "Free trade" "Suppose the average American worker earns twenty dollars per hour while the average Chinese worker earns just two dollars per hour. Won’t free trade make it impossible to defend the higher American wage? Won’t there instead be a leveling down until, say, both American and Chinese workers earn eleven dollars per hour? The answer, once again, is no. And specialization is part of the reason.

If there were only one industry and occupation in which people could work, then free trade would indeed force American wages close to Chinese levels if Chinese workers were as good as Americans. But modern economies are composed of many industries and occupations. If America concentrates its employment where it does best, there is no reason why American wages cannot remain far above Chinese wages for a long time—even though the two nations trade freely. A country’s wage level depends fundamentally on the productivity of its labor force, not on its trade policy. As long as American workers remain more skilled and better educated, work with more capital, and use superior technology, they will continue to earn higher wages than their Chinese counterparts. If and when these advantages end, the wage gap will disappear. Trade is a mere detail that helps ensure that American labor is employed where, in Adam Smith’s phrase, it has some advantage."

I want someone to post a concise list of what exactly makes Bernie dishonest or anything like Hillary or Trump. One that doesn't contain insults, just factual information that can be researched. I've been following the man for almost two decades now and I've witnessed nothing but a man who fights for America. I've never heard him offer anything for free, even an actual socialist would tell you those programs are paid for in taxes. And they aren't taxes on you and me, they're taxes on anyone making $250k a year and up, well above the heads of the upper middle class. And all that is moot anyway, if congress doesn't agree to it he won't pass any of the bills that you're so illogically scared of. At the bare minimum I want him in office because he is honest and repeatedly proven to care about his country. He has no super pac or corporate lobbyists to answer to.

If you have legitimate evidence of the man being dishonest, please share it now or shut up. And remember, even if you do find some small inference, it will be weighed against those of Trump and Hillary, so you better find something good.
>>

Again,
-He isn't indebted to large corporations
-He has been consistent in his policies for 40 years, no matter how controversial at the time
-He isn't a fucking orangutan

I'm a Trump supporter, but as far as Democrats go, I prefer Bernie. Even if he's an idealist, I prefer his honesty to Hillary's blatant corruption.

>Someone did a poll where they asked millennials if they supported socialism, and a huge amount said yes. but when asked if they supported increased government control over the economy, they said no by a huge margin.

That's because most millennials are retarded. That's not meant as an insult. They've spent their lives in a coddled environment where they aren't exposed to the realities of life and have lost any ability to deal with life or even recognize reality. The constant protection and bubble wrap has not allowed their brain to develop normally.
It's their parent's fault. But they ARE functionally retarded.

>Free healthcare and education are things that will greatly benefit people, what's the huge issue with doing things that will help the average person?
Well, my retarded sandersfag, these things are incredibly expensive and would require a massive tax increase for everyone. While it's nice to be compassionate and take the moral highroad, you need to remember that it will cost people money. If you aren't concerned because you think you'll be using other peoples money, then you are not compassionate but vindictive. You also fail to realize that everyone will be receiving a tax increase. see >>684652164
You also fail to understand just how expensive it will all be. >>684655724
It's super easy to be giving when you aren't the one who has to give. It's easy to be socialist until you run out of other peoples money.

this failure of conservative thinking is linked to their lack of knowledge about the outside world
they present free tuition and affordable health care as crazy utopias that couldn't possibly ever happen, even though it's working fine in the rest of the world
literally not a fucking person in europe would prefer to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for college and health care. not even the hardcore conservatives.

more countrys, more varity, more solutions.
If you look at chinas political system they have a board of exectives. in the EU they have a board of presidents/priminesters. in america they have a president who has to purswade congress. in russia, they have a president who is advised by congress. america has a system where thingss wont change until it hits the fan or if the ruling elites want to do something. in russia there isn't a ruling elite, there 1 man in one 1 seat at the top.

Retard, how does quantitative easing on wall street have a "NOT INTENDED" result of wall street deals being taxed less. It's literally the fucking bill itself.

Tell me true man, is it some conservative meme to unnecessarily reminding libs that tax-funded shit isn't actually free? I mean, you can't seriously think anyone believes it's literally 100% free, so reminding us of that fact must be some sort of inside joke.

I just find it hard to have respect for the person I'm disagreeing with if he's so fucking stupid that he doesn't think I, and everyone else, understands this blatantly obvious stuff.
