I've only been on it for like a week so it's not doing shit. I told the doc I thought I had add so I could get adderall and he said I'm depressed and have me this shit instead. I'm going to try again next week and say my concentration is still poor.

Temazepam for ptsd and insomnia. Shit makes me black out in like 30 mins after taking it and I feel buzzed the entire day. However I'm not waking up violently anymore so I suppose that's good.
>>
>>683975523
Prior service or what?
>>
>>683974661

I take meds for OCD and depression. Zoloft gave me the most side effects of any anti-depressant i have been on. It made me very tense and anxious.

Best so far has been Cymbalta. No side effects beyond the usual decreased sex drive I have with all of them.
>>
>>683975487
Just conform faggot

>>683974661
On Ciprilex 10mg daily for social/general anxiety
It works and I like it
My dick still gets hard too
>>
>>683975310
Dr gave me Zoloft because I developed some pretty interesting anxiety and depression problems (never had any before) and that shit made me even more depressed, couldn't fap, had no motivation, and became a different person...just smoke cannabis bud, because those pills do NOT fucking work

In my experience weed can do either way for me depending on strain. Sativa seems to be best for me. Indica doesn't play nice with my existing problems.

Not OP. I'm on citalopram too. Been on 20 mg per day for the last several months. To be honest, it hasn't really done much. But I feel less like a zombie and less tired in the mornings. I'm better able to function during the day, and people say I'm more cheerful.

But it's not the life-changing, amazing miracle drug I was expecting. According to a recent meta-analysis, they claimed that SSRIs are little better than placebo for people who are only mildly depressed. However, for people with severe depression, there does seem to be a stronger benefit. I'm not sure if I believe this study though.

How long have you been on citalopram for?
>>
>>683974661
2 shots of semen a day
1 in morning and one before bed
Sets me str8
>>
>>683975959
Wtf did they tell you?
>>
>>683976201
In retrospect probably a stupid decision , but I like what I do now and my issues are more or less under control. Plus I'm almost done with my BA anyways in case I have to get out.
>>
>>683976047

Nope. I have been on Zoloft, Effexor, Paxil, and Amitriptyline in the past.

Medical marijuana and percocets. Both for chronic inoperable back pain.

>>683976295
Ya temazepam, stopped taking it thou so I could deploy again.
>>
>>683974661
none. I'd rather quit from life than live a numb life as a pharma-zombie, but my issues are also not super severe
>>
>>683976356
yeah, citalopram did nothing for me before i started to take 40mg daily and added 20mg mirtazapine to help me sleep, been on citalopram for 8 months now and mirtazapine for 6
>>
>>683976319
Gave up my lexapro went through my 6 months of withdrawals after I realized all the shit does is make you not care. Your problems are still there with or without the drugs. Essentially I grew up.

>Doc I need help. I have bad anxiety and I'm depressed.
>Oh, shit well here you go
>Gives meds that cause anxiety and depression
>You should be all fine in 2 weeks
>2 weeks?
>Yeah it takes that long to kick in and even then you might kill yourself before it does
>Oh and your dick won't work!

Who the fuck thought that was sane?
>>
I'm on 75.5 MG venlafaxine for severe depression and anxiety and they are working for that, I started off on Zoloft and it was the worst thing it made me sick, made me even feel more depressed then I was, I even flipped out one night and smashed up my cupboard. but yeah fuck Zoloft dude definitely change it doesn't do shit.

That sounds about right. Mild depression I would look first to things like increased regular exercise, balanced diet, spending more time outside in the sun etc. before meds enter the picture. Severe depression, which is/was my case along with the OCD, I absolutely need the meds just to keep me relatively sane. But you're right, it's not a huge difference. Meds just decrease the frequency, severity, and duration of my episodes to the point that i can function more or less.

Not neccecarily but it does on most individuals that are regularly using SSRI's it does. If you planned something in the direction of psychadelics you should consider quitting those receptor affecting meds at least a month before using them
>>
>>683978011
I dont agree with weak, but then again i snort it rather than take it. it definitely mixes well with booze.
>>
>>683977165
Thanks, I'm so ready to be out. Body can't take it anymore.
>>683977272
Nope
>>
honestly most of you sound pretty ignorant. I'm 29 and have had chronic insomnia and severe clinical depression/ generalized anxiety disorder since I was 12, these problems can compound themselves because of the nature of how your brain specializes and prunes based on stimulus so if you're depressed and can't sleep it becomes more ingrained and permanent the longer it continues. These meds actually can help in serious ways and I've tried 3 or 4 before finding one that works for me so I know it's not placebo. If you just can't seem to ever be healthy and can't ever sleep on a schedule or maintain anything resembling a healthy life and feel like you're going to die if you work any job for long enough then try meds, don't listen to retarded people who just enjoy saying that it's all bullshit big pharma lies, they literally don't know what they're saying. The stigma behind antidepressants is why people spend years being sick and untreated all because people don't like to learn that 100% of who they are is based on chemical balances, fuck them and try it before you waste an entire decade of your adult life like I did. Pot doesn't cure severe depression in my experience it just medicates being sad about your life being ruined by it. Doctors actually know more than everyone else here, that's the point of their job

Wellburtin, Abilify, Zoloft, and Adderall

Naltrexone for what?
>>
>>683979206
Dude, you really shouldn't take SSRIs and Mushrooms together. You will build up a tolerance to your medication, and could die of serotonin syndrome if you try to take a larger dose.
