hey /b/ros, pls help me out here

started using Tor, have experienced it before but never used myself

>average PC
>50 mbit connection
>Tor slow as hell
>90% of sites won´t load

is it normal? am I doing something wrong?
I have no shitty idea of how the fuck this works
>>
if you want to browse darknet / deep web its always fucking slow
>>
Its like Pre dsl times nigger
>>
>>683122327
>>683122586
but even 4chan is slow as shit
>>
>>683122984
that's because tor is slowing your internet you dumb fuck
>>
>>683122190
>Tor slow as hell
It's normal. Avg speed in Tor network is up to 3 Mbps
>90% of sites won´t load
How can you tell that? If you are using search engines to find sites you are doing it wrong! Tor does not index its sites. It means that you HAVE to know the exact links. you CAN'T find them anywhere.
>>
>>683123921
ok thanks,
heard the second one before, but thought i might be able to access some
but even loads of onion links from .city won´t load.. you know anything about that?
>>
>>683123921
>>683124068
also, can I use Tor and browse in a normal browser at the same time or will this break my anonymity on Tor?
>>
>>683122190
try alt+F4
>>
>>683124068
>>683124283
Using .city, .to and other creations is the worst thing you can do. Everything is being tracked this way.
>browsing at the same time
Yes you can because Tor makes virtual tunnel where it sends all the data. On the other hand using normal browser and Tor at the same time makes your Internet much slower. The safest way of accessing deep web is using Tails OS, which can be run from CD or flash memory.
>>
>>683124714
ok thanks m8, really helped
>>
>>683125066
No problem. More questions?

A piece of advice:

Don't use the onion. Seriously. It's been disassembled and reassembled a thousand times by authoritative bodies. If you're going on it for Cheez pizza or bomb recipes or what have you, chances are you'll get caught.
>>
>>683125496
is there any discrete way to tell me how i get a starting point without onion? I mean after the first steps forums etc. will show me the way
>>
>>683125799
yea, thanks
as a newfag on Tor i thought it would be a nice thing if there is some kind of list which i can search trough.. a friend of mine told me that onion doesn´t list the most interesting links, either
>>
>>683126398
Tor doesn't list any site at all.
>>683126117
Do you mean is there a safe way I can teach you online how to use Tor or what?
>>
>>683126575
no I mean if you could post some links or something for me to start with (no virus pls)
or furthermore, i tried accessing other chan sites with normal urls, but didn´t work, that´s why I need links to start browsing
>>
>>683126832
Aaaahh. What types of sites you are interested in?
>>
>>683126832
By the way. I hope you have configured the Tor (flash and java) ?

>>
>>683122190

On dream market right now, literally the same speed as any other "normal" website, like BBC or here.

>What ones wont load?
>>
>>683128189
If you haven't configured Tor and you have accessed some onion sites your are not safe anymore (malware code injection, expanding the size of the packets, listening exit nodes etc.). In brief - they have all your data including your hostname, real IP, OS, browsers, system configuration, PC name etc.

>>
>>683128527
idk just gimme funny shit
>>
>>683128617
i mean i asked for shit but i don´t know if i wanna click it
>>
>>683128722
So just say what are you exactly looking for.
>>
TOR is bait.
Literally, it exists to bait people who are looking for illegal shit into dling it.
It's like a "I want cheese pizza" registry.
Using it once pretty much guarantees your ISP and anyone else interested will start watching your connection like a hawk.
There's a witch hunt on, and using tor makes you a target.
>>
>>683128777
what about chans that are .. more "illegal" than 4chan? like i know master and 8, but they are both not accessible from Tor as i tried
>>
>>683129089
yea i wanted to install Tails just now but i hate complicated shit
>>
>>683129166
master and 8 have their own onion links, but they suck, nothing interesting there. Master is owned by feds(since march). It's just a honeypot spammed with illegal things, so it attracts people.
>>
>>683129089

>>683128722

Link is in the tor page
>>
>>683129587
why does everything have to be so complicated
i just wanna have fun on the darknet while not going to jail

onion would be fun if it worked.. i mean i have clicked some shit and actually got to some sites.. most of them weren´t accessable and the other ones were 100% scam, but there were some working ones..
but for example the Dream Market, are those trustworthy? I mean they do look like a real website, but they are shady just because they are hidden in Tor and shit
>>
>>683130147
are you familiar with this stuff? How trustworthy is it and how do I find new shit
>>
>>683129725
it makes it look like you're interested
>>
>>683129725
If you haven't configured Tor - yes.
>>683130248
Why complicated? Because it's a deep web. It can't be achieved by just clicking. You need to configure some shit so you will not end in jail.
The safest way is to use Tails, configure it, buy new network card (doesn't use it at home), go outside and use it with public wifi. Then after each session you should overwrite the data about 35 times each with another pattern. Also you should create external virtual tunnel when using Tor. In that way you are 100% safe.
>>
>>683130778
when you say configured you mean no script working + high security configuration?
>>
>>683130409

I wouldn't look for CP or anything that is Terrorist related, the government doesn't like that, but moving a small amount of drugs online is not going to flag up too much. Been at this for 2 years only lost 2 packages order once a week so out of lets say 110 orders 2 has been lost, and I just think it was a genuine fuck up by the mail service. That was a year ago, still have the same PO box, not been busted yet.
>>
>>683130778
waaaaay to complicated. i´ll simply use Tor instead. Not planning to buy shit like fake money and stuff online, just wanna look at some shit. What is the most illegal thing i can do btw? Download cp? I mean even looking at a website full with it wouldn´t make me a criminal if i don´t save it, or would it?
>>
>>683130778
Thanks based anon. But can't you just spoof the MAC?
>>
>>683131139
YOU seem to get my point. What do you use for safety? Do you use Tail or something or only Tor? Can it fuck me if i click on Scam sites and how?
And again the most important question: how the fuck do I find links to stuff?
>>
>>683131179
Lurking and seeing cp isn't necessarily going to get you jailed. Doing it frequently might but governments know people often click shit with out knowing where it will take the,
>>
>>683131084
No. I mean. No script + high security + disable javascript + disable java requests + disable flash + see if your provides tracks you (if so, configure additional proxy and ports).
>>683131179
Most illegal? Hire assassin, buy people, delete someone from the world ( remove their id from database, all documents etc, they do not exist anymore), make someone to kidnap someone and torture them... Viewing something online = downloading it on your hard drive to the temporary folder which you can't see.
>>
>>683131445
Hidden wiki, topic links
>>
>>683131445
You don't find them. You need to know them (or know people related to these links). Sites like wiki or tor lists are shit, old links which are not even 0.01% of Tor.
>>
>>683131670
How to find out if your ISP is tracking you?
>>
>>683131791
Chat rooms can be a good place to find a link or two
>>
>>683131670
>is there a way to clean that folder
>>
>>683131670
Yea no, i´m gonna order all the fun stuff from some else´s pc or something. But as the other anon said, if i just look at it the gov might think I clicked it by accident. I´m a pretty good liar. More important: downloading illegal shit makes me a criminal when they find it on my drive, right? I´m not living in NSAmerica so i shouldn´t be monitored too hard
>>
any working onion links pease?
>>
>>683131944
Read the papers you have signed.
>>683131987
Yes.
>>683132107
Yes, but it takes too much time to wipe it off completely.
>>683132146
>gov might think I clicked it by accident.
Gov doesn't think like that. They will tell you hat you clicked it on purpose.
>I´m a pretty good liar.
They don't care about it. They can prove you wanted to access these sites. They don't need evidence.
>downloading illegal shit makes me a criminal when they find it on my drive, right? I´m not living in NSAmerica so i shouldn´t be monitored too hard
Yes. It makes you a criminal. Not even on drive. They just need to check logs. Europe? Countries like Germany, Austria, Czech, Italy are being monitored the most in the Europe.

>>

People say don't use windows and tor. But I'm not a whistle blower or trading government secrets, just cionfigure tor properly and it is all good

I also use Full disk encryption with a 156 character pass code, if I power off my PC even the fucking NSA with all the time in the world will never get in. Very much over over kill but I like to be safe.
>>
>>683132868
Whatever. I know few people who were sued for accessing Tor. They couldnt even say a word. Feds showed them 86 pages of documents telling that they opened the links on purpose.

When we regained independence, there was shitload of referendums and one of them was regarding privacy, government has literally no rights to invade your privacy under any circumstances, and if they do, they're breaking the constitution law themselves.
