I like where you're going with that but I wouldn't want a feral. They only know bullying and greed, ect. Thus when they finally have some freedom or power they'll have a higher tendency to do the same. Bullying is kind of a cycle. I'd get a brown one from a domesticated mare, but was only abused a little. I might amputate it's hind legs to optimize what I wanted.

I'd pick a rescue fluff or a brown foal. A fluff that has only known abuse will be obedient and loyal, as if it makes you happy, you'll love it. I wouldn't use the sorry stick ever, though, but the sorry box for the worst behavior, and no sketties for minor tantrums.
