Keep in mind, the programming thing is actually a pretty recent development from newcomers to the fandom after fluffy threads got rejuvinated by a guy posting exclusively smarty content and people got it in their heads that fluffies should deserve abuse because they're largely bigoted, demanding dickwads.

Fluffies however are not strong in the first place so there is not much point in buying a brown one if a brightly colored one has nearly the same strengths. The reason for buying a brown one however is because brown ones are more grateful than their litter mates. Because the brown ones are pushed aside and abused from the point of birth they learn to use the litter box with no fuss, cherish every bowl of kibble much less sketti, and love their owners that much more. The only problem with getting a brown foal is teaching it not to sleep in the litter box.
