Look for a Law firm that handles it. They can only take a % of your settlement [which started the day you filed - that stays in place when you Appeal] or I *think* 5k max - whatever is lower.

Personally I filed it myself and hired on an Advocate [hate lawyers] for my Appeal. Both types know the system and can get you through it.

You should try cataloguing every place that could possibly hire a medtech within one hour driving distance to your location, and apply. Most of those places do hirings over the intrawebs so develop a plan to do both of those things regularly. A lot of times if you just keep applying somewhere every 6-12 months they will just hire you regardless.
