I do however waste a TON of money on food, but that's because I eat out too much, which will change once I get my apartment and don't have to avoid other people in the house. My gas expenses will probably go down too, actually, since I'll be closer to work.

For the sake of full disclosure, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that I have also acquired some debt. Lots of medical and school debt. Fortunately most places that check your credit don't give a shit about either of those. Every apartment I've ever applied to has told me they don't even look at it because almost every 20-something is drowning in student/medical debt these days.
