Ever had god damn bed bugs? How the fuck do I get rid of them? I've used Raid spray all over my bed and around my bed and they die but the always come back. Please help they're making me go fucking crazy
>>
Welcome to your new hell, anon

Even if you move away, they will be lurking in your bags, shoes, clothes, boxes

You're done, fam

Exterminator? Prayer?
>>
Hire an exterminator and you need to get bed bug covers for your mattress and box spring they hide everywhere. I have had them before took 6 months to get rid of them. Most people throw everything out but I just paid my bed and did not want to get rid of it.
>>
>>682389764
Exterminator
They will use industrial heaters to heat the inside of your home to 110+ degrees F. Best method to kill the bugs and eggs
>>
used to be a social worker and 80% of my client's had them at any given time (public housing, drug dens, and cheap apartments mostly). Have someone spray or use heat treatment weekly. Best thing was getting mattress cover, throwing away couches, chairs with fabric, and any other none essential furniture. Stuffed animals have to go. Wash ALL your cloths and keep them in sealed garbage bags until you haven't seen any BB for at least a month. Best of luck.
>>
>>682390762
we need to bring back DDT, not for farming just for these little shits
>>
bro i have a current war with them, this is how i am winning, keep everything away from walls, throw away the carpet, sleep on memory foam or a bed but get rid of the base, in a sense make your room the less crowded as possible, i read about spraying lavender oil too read about that its to long to explain, its a hard war but be aggresive bro

This sounds extremely expensive. Is there not a quick cheap way to get rid of them? I don't think I have very many of them..yet.
>>
>>682389764
Why don't you just Google it instead of asking on /b you lazy fuck. This is why you can't get rid of bedbugs.

fuck you faggot
>>
>>682391225
Once you see one, it's already too late. You can never be thorough enough without professional help.
>>
Diatomaceous earth. Buy ~10lbs from Amazon, it's cheap, and effective. Worked for me with 2 infestations (fuck you, Baton Rouge), just put that shit everywhere close to where you sleep/hang out. That includes couches, chairs, living room, every stick of furniture upon which your ass rests.
>>
>>682389764
Raid what the fuck
>>
>>682389764
get a new bed and call an exterminator. this isnt some shit you want half done.
>>
Been there myself brotato. Use Diatomaceous earth around your bed and crush up some mint, sage, and lavender on your bed sheet every night. After a month they should die out completely.
>>
>>682389764
OP, you're going to need a professional exterminator to come in. If you want a short term solution check bedlam on amazon
>>
>>682391453
food grade de doesnt do shit. its a barrier if you can even call it that.
>>
Buy some plastic mattress case that zips closed to kill any on your matress( they sell them at walmart/target)

also buy "Diatomaceous Earth" (sold at home depot) and put that shit around your bed in small crevasses in your place any where.

they lay eggs you dumb shit. if you have two of them, you have two thousand of them.

get a fucking exterminator. they guarantee that they'll get rid of them. an apartment i lived at in college had a flea outbreak. waking up with fucking bites all over you causes you to start to lose your fucking mind. when you're in public and you brush your legs and pull off a fucking insect, you wonder if your car is infested, you get paranoid as fuck.

get an exterminator you fucking fool.

>>
>>682391810
For real I think the bites are causing some kind of psychological breakdown. I can't sleep, I ALWAYS feel like I have bugs crawling on my legs and arms. I'm constantly paranoid. And the itching....oh God the itching does not stop.
>>
>>682389764
Heat is the only thing that kills them. Buy a space heater or two, close your doors/windows and crank that shit for 3 days. It's the only way.

those little shits drove me insane for a couple of months
cheap way, buy some diatomaceous earth online (food grade)

it's not expensive & if they walk in it they'll die.
it's also pet safe

fill a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol.
that kills them, too.

>pic not related. had no bug pics

>>682389764
Same thing here brah
Fucking neighbours are a bunch of Somalis and nogs who don't clean up after themselves.
>>
Spraying your bed is just going to cause bodily harm to yourself... do you want cancer... that's how you get cancer.

Call someone. Yeah it's expensive but you're limited in your options here. Heat treatments are the only effective way to rid you of them. Spraying yourself is a half measure. Could cost from 700 to 1200, you will have to look around.

Bed bugs fucking suck. I used to burn them with a soldering iron. I also used to collect them in little baggies, and release them in places that pissed me off, like restaurants with shitty service and hotels that screwed up my requests.
>>
when i had them i did everything, mattress cover, DE, the works, scorched the earth 4 times before discovering there was a huge nest of them in both my curtains on the very top where the curtain rod holds it up, literally was so pissed i put all of them in the trash and lit it on fire
>>
>>682389764
First rule is get rid of the source. For me that was a person, and everything else about her was toxic anyways, so no big loss.

Second rule, get the mattress encasement. Don't plan on ever taking it back off.

Third rule, cheap plastic sheeting. Put it everywhere. After a while, the bed is the only place you will really need it, but in the short term the rest of your furniture will need it too.

Four, wash all your clothes and shit in hot water regularly. If you are worried about them getting back into your clothes, then keep your clothes in trash bags and keep them sealed in tight.

Five, be persistent. You aren't gonna be inviting too many people over anyway, so dont worry how it looks having plastic all over everything.

That's it really. It's been since november 2014 since the bitch split, and suddenly my techniques started working. She was bringing in fresh recruits from her nigger fucking sisters place. Sometime right after christmas last year was the last time I saw one, and it looked like a skeleton it was so skinny.

You see, the only thing that really works against the insect niggers is DDT, and we aren't allowed to use that shit anymore. Nothing else works nearly as well. So you just gotta starve them out.
>>

They took fido's blanket or something when they left and brought it back to the nice clean house when they came back, one month later they're crying about how we're frauds, fuck them. They should follow directions.
>>
>>682393161
its because DDT is a lipophilic molecule and bioaccumulates. fish absorb it, then birds eat the fish, etc.

the molecule is incredibly stable because of the carbon-chlorine bond. its difficult for the body to metabolize it. it has a half life of like six years.

its very good at what it does but the endocrine disruptive and carcinogenic properties combined with the long halflife and lipophilicity means its an absolute catastrophe when used ubiquitously.

the anons are right, bed bugs aren't a hive species, they're like cockroaches, they have aggregate chemicals in their shit that signals to other bedbugs where safe places to sleep are.

There are males and females, the males impregnate the females by stabbing them, pregnant females wander away from the aggregate chemicals because the trauma of the insemination. This is why bedbugs spread the way they do.

I actually think that temprid would probably work. if you kept up the spraying, but realize bedbugs continue living for up to a year without feeding.

You may want to mix some precor 2000 or nygard in there, as that will actually kill the juveniles or make them infertile when they molt.

I'm the orkin man btw.

"only seen one since 2014" doesn't mean a whole lot, they hide and only come out when your breathing slows. They've been programmed that way by evolution.

If you see any, you have a hell of an infestation. They are only seen walking around by human beings when there are A LOT of them. You can find them hiding in fun places like the screw holes in your bedframe if you look hard enough.
>>
>>682396247
yeah this works. either that or just shitloads more bedbugs. they don't like crowded conditions so they'll all leave.
>>
Mix 1ounce temprid sc(residual), 1 ounce excit-R(quick kill), and 1 ounce NYgard(IGR) in a gallon sprayer filled with water. Spray all the floors and mattresses, and couches that aren't leather. I will attest that the heat treatment works. We hired this lady to bring in a bunch of industrial heaters that got the house up to about 140 degrees for 14 hours. You're going to try to bait them? How would that work, they literally don't eat anything but blood, even the juveniles eat blood in order to fuel their molting process.

This shit ruined my life op. i feel you. you gotta bomb the house or kill them all with cans of raid. youre gunna need a gas mask. good luck. it took me years. and then after that it still haunts you :)

I used raid spray 5 times. Put everything in black bags, move all ya shit that cannot go in a bag, spreay down floor, floorboards, walls. All of it!! Then wash everything in black bags.keep in mind it's the dryer that kills them. Then spreay down mattress and bedframe/ everything that you put outside. I did this 4times in a month then 1more time to be on the safe side

I tell em they shouldn't bring more in. We come back and do a chemical treatment, but at that point there isn't much hope. Like I said earlier, typically people just bring them back in, because they do not address the source of the issue, or they do something ignorant and fail to follow directions.

And yeah, to answer your question, it was 140 inside the walls and everywhere, they use spectral cameras to look for cold spots, if they find one, they reset the clock, move shit around and start over.

You can try to bait bedbugs, but it's not an end-all-be-all.

You have to make a trap, then you need a source of carbon dioxide, usually sugar water and yeast. It works well to see if they are still around, but you aren't gonna kill them all.

>>682398498
Nice try orkin fag. I ain't buying it. What you do is a scam. Just because they don't have you come back to redo it, that doesn't mean it worked, it means they hate you, and are going with a different plan.

Diatomaceous Earth (often referred to as "DE") is an off white talc-like powder that is the fossilized remains of marine phytoplankton. When sprinkled on a bug that has an exoskeleton (such as bed bugs, ants or fleas) it compromises their waxy coating so that their innards turn into teeny tiny bug jerky. But it doesn't hurt mammals. We can eat it. We do eat it! It's in lots of grain based foods because lots of grains are stored with diatomaceous earth to keep the bugs from eating the grain!

>>
>>682400179
they bring in space heaters, and thermal sensors, and bring the entire space to about 121 degrees, they're looking for uniform 121 degrees even inside of wall voids and shit, that's functionally 140 degrees air temperature. They monitor with the thermal gear and hold it at that temperature for at least 2 hours. If any spot in the house drops to less than 121 degrees, then they restart the timer and go in, move stuff around until they get the desired temp. The whole process typically takes between 8 and 14 hours.

>>
>>682401091
another jew ripoff

it might technically hurt them, but it's not gonna help you get rid of them very eaily.
>>
What I did was the following:

1. Clean the entire house/apartment from head to toe. This doesn't take 4 hours, this takes 2 days. I'm talking take out every rug you have, vacuum ever nook, dust every corner, mop ever spot. Clean every drape. Wash all your windows.

2. Take every sheet from your beds on the house and throw them in a pile. This should actually be done first. As you're cleaning your house, you will wash these and fold them away.

3. Once the cleaning is done and the sheets are off your bed, and under your bed(s) are spic and span, take the vacuum and vacuum the mattresses. You want to FLIP each mattress over, and vacuum both sides. Vacuum them for long.

4. Once that's all done, see if you can sleep on the other side of that matters. It might be tougher because it's not worn in, but if the springs allow it, DO IT.

5. Put all the sheets back on. Throughout this whole process you're washing all your clothes as well and showering. Open many windows, let the dust go outside.

I've gotten bed bugs 2 times and this process got rid of them each time.
>>
>>682401176

Yeah, I typically leave the ants trailing indoors, I bait inside with either maxforce bait applicators(prefered) or put a couple of bait stations down (also maxforce).

I'll do the foundation outside with either termidor or arilon, and then do the property line with some talstar or ecovia. I want the nonrepellent barrier around the outside. Then I let the customer know that it's better not to disturb their trailing in the house for the moment, they'll be dead in 2-3 days. No callbacks yet. Granted that's only really for argentine ants.

fire kills these little bastards. not saying set your place on fire yet but that is also an option. keep the infected rooms clutter free. these bastards live in the carpet and under your bed. Vacuum all the time and if you see one burn it. I went out and bought a lighter use to light candles and other shit. after doing this for some time i got rid of them all. if your bed has holes in it then you are fucked. throw it away
>>
>>682401960
Yeah that's the beauty of Phantom is that the ants don't know they are even walking through it so they never release the chemical telling the rest to avoid that area(sugar ants, carpenter, and also argentine) And yeah I use talstar-p on the outside as well.

>>682389764
be careful what you read on the net, a lot of it is shit

only good source for that stuff is this forum, it's been up for years and experts give you free advice on there

heat doesn't work by the way, it drives the bug further into the walls

Raid and shit like that will make them spread away from the bed and you'll end up with them all over your house

If you move you will bring them with you

read all the FAQ on there and contact an exterminator that is good and verified

Good luck

I got bedbugs after I fucked a really trashy woman. She looked like she hadn't cleaned her bed in a decade. I thought I had gotten scabies. Turns out it was bed bugs. I ended up throwing out my bed and cleaning my apartment thoroughly, as well as washing every fabric I could with scolding hot water and soap. I don't think they're gone, but I don't seem to have bug bites other than mosquitoes.

Not sure what to do as I live in an apartment and I'm afraid I might lost my deposit or be penalized in some way.

>>
without an exterminator, the best you can do is population control.

make a fermentation trap,(yeast, sugar, soda bottle, steep smooth dish) google will find you some decent plans.

vacuum EVERY.FUCKING.DAY. use the crevice tool on your vac. use caulk on gaps around your baseboard and furniture joints. if you can slide a credit card in a gap, its big enough for a bedbug to fit.
wash your bedding regularly, hot wash. dry in a hot drier or dry in full sunshine. keep this up religiously until you can afford an exterminator.
>>
>>682402860
For roaches?

I'd either go with Phantom concentrate(follow the directions) with an IGR, either Precor Aerosol or Nygard concentrate. Also, use Exciter. Spray the areas immediately around the areas you believe them to be, ideally your cupboards should be empty, and all cardboard thrown out.

After you've dropped down the spray, literally every crack and crevice should have some outside or on it, including cealings of drawers and places like the gaps in the drawer hinges, everything, at that point, use a flushing agent, like 565. spray the aerosol into the holes. They'll come running out into the poison.

BTW, if you have, for example, a 1 gallon sprayer(which you should have at least), just mix the 3 first items into the thing as though you were mixing each into a gallon of water, insert enough chemical for 1 gallon of water for nygard, excitR, and cykick(or phantom).

A Detroit man was so overwhelmed by the bedbugs in his Midtown apartment that he sprayed himself with alcohol and then tried to light one of them on fire, badly burning himself in the ensuing flames.

>>
>>682403949
I'm pretty sure, judging from the places I've treated that bedbugs don't care if your house is clean or not. if you have anything nearby your bed or multiple layers on your bed, they got places to hide, they can travel up to 6 yards for food and back in a night and they move pretty fast, slower than a cockroach, but faster than an ant, that's for sure.
>>
>>682403624

I may have misphrased. I don't have an infestation. Texas got heavy floods. Outdoor roaches come in for hiding.

Maybe one a week over the last month. And they're dying once they get in. I really like the idea of spraying poison across my foundation and underneath baseboards once I get into that crap.

So, considering it ISNT for an infestation, so no flushing agent needed, what do you recommend now?

Talstar around the property line(it repels) and termidor or temprid sc around the foundation. You can spray the talstar over the foundation if there's places you don't want them going no matter what, but it works best the further you have it from the home. The other stuff is nonrepellent. You can also put talstar PL granules on your lawn, it doesn't have to be a heavy application, use a seed spreader to spread it out, if it lands on your concrete then sweep it off.

Or these
>>
>>682405063
follow the label, the hard and fast rule for the talstar is that it can be applied 2 feet up and 2 feet out from surfaces like fences or house or whatever if it's above absorbant material(like grass or dirt) and 2 feet up if it's above concrete.

The other stuff aim real low, you only want to cover the base of the foundation. You can use the Talstar spray to spray your eaves and under your windows to keep away wasps and flying insects(like some roach species), as well as spiders.

Does that help?>

I sprayed religiously with Raid everywhere. Covered my mattresses. They still came back, mainly on my daughters expensive wooden bed frame.

I took that frame outside and took it apart. Sprayed it with pink spray paint, then coated everything, EVERYTHING, with farm grade permethrin diluted 8oz to 1 gallon. I spray that on everything once every two weeks or so.

I've been lucky so far. The bed bugs I have aren't resistant to it as far as I can tell, though I hear a different strains of bed bugs have been shown to be resistant.

You can get it at Tractor Supply $20 for 32 oz.
