We have discussed ways of making a better doll, but there's a couple big problems in the way.

There is methods of reinforcing soft silicones to prevent them from getting deep tears. The sex doll companies don't use those methods tho due to the complexity.

The main problem that I see is keeping the things *heated*... body heat is a big part of the sensations and keeping them evenly heated would not be easy. They'd need external power to do it, but they would stay warm for short periods of use...

Making them posable isn't a problem, but making them move at all adds a huge amount of cost and complexity for anything that would be durable and maintenance-free for long periods.

*I* tend to feel that the future of sex dolls is for stuff that doesn't try to copy human anatomy. If the goal is an amazing physical sensation, there's no reason to limit the design to the human form (and I don't mean ponies, tho that would be possible).

Whats the best material to use for jointless dolls when it comes to 1/6th scale (12") figures?

Right now companies use rubber that degrades over time that eventually ends up developing tears, micro and visible, has to have some lubricating agent applied once a month to keep the rubber from drying etc. And the more you pose and move the joints of the doll, the sooner you may develop tears in the rubber, at which point you're better off juat having bought a standard figure with visible joints.

What's the solution then for long lasting durable, joint covers that also allow for unrestricted posing without tearing over time?

Pic related, seamless 12" Phicen rubber body figure, it looks better than joints showing everywhere, except the elbow looks wierd, but overall the lifespan of the figure especially if posed often is much shorter than a standard 12" figure with the Seamless rubber body covering, due to the material used.

How would toy companies solve this for the future? Seems like its an easier thing to solve for such a smaller figure than a lifesize doll at least but idk.
