Life is strange isn't as bad as some people make it out to be, that's very true.

However, it's not "god tier" nor is it even good, the game's first three episodes are trash tier, with some okay moments in them. The later two episodes are good episodes, and that's literally the only thing saving it from being utter trash. A lot of people who like it are basing their opinions on the entire game over those two episodes and not the entirety of the "Season" or "Series" (Since there won't be a sequel).

I played fallout when it first released in the 90s. I was a fan all the way; I even played the shitty BoS tactics game and I cried when Van Buren got kanked.

Fallout 4 is not even close to being as bad as people keep saying it is. It is a brilliant direction for the series and I am glad Bethesda is at the reigns. Honestly, I believe all the criticism is just a meme. Like when it first released, it was everyone's priority to "ruin" the ending for people.

Compared to what? FNV? In that game, there was clearly an evil faction and a good faction. Same thing in Fo3. In Fo4, there is no clear "good guys" and "bad guys" so you have to make choices that are more complex for RP purposes.

Power armor has always been a sore point for most vets like myself. Traditionally, it was just a tiered piece of armor. In Fo4, it plays a separate and distinct purpose. Honestly, I think if the original developers could have pulled it off, that is how they would have put power armor in the game. And if you think fusion cores are easy to find, play survival mode and stop being a CoD bitch.

The fact that they got rid of the whole individual skill leveling in favor of perks is fantastic. The only reason any of those individual skills existed was to gate-guard the perks associated with them. Bethesda figured this out and streamlined the whole process; who the fuck cares about a 1-100 skill scale for something like rifles or lock picking when the only reason you dump points into those skills in the first place is to unlock the perks?

Fo4 did indeed suck for fallout
the main story can be predicted before you even exit vault 111. its progression is dead and far from captivating. even Fo3's weak plot was superior.
the characters are flat as fuck even with the fuckton of dialogue other than a few of the companions.
your choices center around dialogue rather than actual directions you can take in the game. it make it feel like the entire game is linear with no replay value.
the leveling system is aweful. no longer anticipating when a new level is reached because none of it seems to matter. not many of the perks seem to even hatter after you reach a fairly low level.
the new armor / damage system is shit. many weapons become completely useless without legendary effects.
legendary effects are shit. there is no more fun in finding / collecting unique weapons and armor since you already have a crate full of legendary gear.

Fo4 isnt a bad game but it sucks compared to the rest of the franchise
