As someone who started on dark souls, and went back and played demons souls, I honestly prefer dark and dark 3. Blood borne isn't in the list but I did enjoy it too, it was a lot easier than any of the DS games though. I think your nostalgia is clouding your judgement. Demons souls is fun, but it's not near as enjoyable as dark one or dark three. It is way better than dark two though no contest.

It has nostalgia value for sure. But trust me when i say it was actually difficult. As in the enemies were more clever, timing was more crucial instead of engineered to be unintuitive.

In demon's souls they attacked out of shielding much quicker, parried far more often and knocked you around more.

In dark souls, they don't need to attack fast, your hits just don't have knockback when they're attacking so they keep on swinging. Unless you farmed aimlessly for the sole purpose of counteracting the games builtin handicap.

It was okay. Better than 2 is some ways, better than 1 in some ways, inferior in others. The damage reduction system has hugely limited the number of weapons and infusions that are viable even before you account for move sets, which is pretty disappointing. The net code hasn't gotten any better. The amount of DeS fan service is pretty deplorable and makes any attempts at understanding the lore even less meaningful than ever.
My biggest disappointment though is how linear it was, even within Lothric and the areas connected to the settlement.
The graphics and some few select areas are just fantastic for one reason or another but it didn't really feel like they reached or excelled in anyway whatsoever.

not that anon but for me the graphics, it was more destiny then cod
characters looked cartoonish. maps were also that way. felt like i was playing on a bunch of paintball courses

also didnt like some of the options like selecting an agent with certain powerups. cod is supposed to be soldiers just running around gunning each other down. why add customization past gun types and skins

the campaign storyline was the same basic story they've done for years.

zombies is ok but gets old fast since its been basically unchanged for multiple gens now
