Guild Wars 2 is pretty decent, also a buy to play. It can get a little repetitive at times, but definitely one of the few mmos that tries to involve you in the story. I hadn't played it since before the latest expansion pack, so I don't know how good that is, though.

I would also like to know some decent mmos. I played wow up to pandaria, but got sick of it. So black desert an gw2. Neverwinter looks boring and maybe too late in the game for FF

My problem with these newish MMOs like gw2 or bdo is that everyone is a damage dealer. There is no real team coordination involved. Just everyone doing their rotation until everything is dead. There's no team play involved anymore and that sucks. I want me heal, tank, DD Trinity or something close to that. Anything like that atm?

Try tree of Savior, comes out on the 10th of next month. I first didn't like it because it was top view but it was actually pretty different from those shitty diablo clones.

The socializing is what I like most about it.
apart from that, there's Blade n Soul, played some of it, the game is decent but the disconnections and client errors are the reason I stopped for a while.

BnS is terrible. You need to nolife if you want to get anywhere, the dungeons are meh, community is bad and you need to install gameguard. The classes are bland too, since there isn't the holy trinity the classes are samey and the group play is essentially just zerging the monsters with everyone.

Sadly Wildstar is -from what I hear of it- well on its way to dying. The same goes for Aion. The last one I played for a serious amount of time, and they messed it up after selling it to GayForge, and continued to slowly murder it ever since.

Swtor is fun if you enjoy story content, the endgame is laughable at best

Also, I have to severely agree with anon here. I got into BnS with a fresh mind after not having played MMOs for a while, and while it was fun at the start, it soon blended into one giant pile of shit.

It's not the grind or the boring end game that fucked it up, it's the stale continuation of nothingness. Sounds fancy, it really isn't. What it boils down to is that every class does the exact same thing as every other person playing that class. There's no variation. The dungeon runs are always the exact same as previous times, and there's no real incentive to upgrade your gear.

Star trek Online or Fallen Earth. STO has good story, easy to reach cap and nice space combat. Fallen Earth has goos story and community.

Fantasy, Lotro or Neverwinter.
Lotro is really good in ambiantation and story, the cap has been leveled up and is a goos trip. Neverwinter is instace based.

Real economy and scy-fy Entropia Universe, you can start in Monria that is somewhat mythos based and get dow to Calypso later. The most hard thing about this game is that there is not a marked objective,you can try everithing, but must be patient and not waste your money.

Age of Conan has really goos ambientation, and tits.

ArcheAge went to hell the very same minute they introduced worker's compensation pots, as the entire economy is driven on that. Also, as for PvP and PvE, you need massive amounts of gear to amount to anything, which is on par with a Korean-level of grind to get. Unless you choose a very specific class with a very specific range of skills, you won't amount to much in either fields.

In Entropia Universe you can waste your time wandering in Calypso, one of the best ingame landscapes I've ever seen. Monsters and vegetation are just wonderful. Another game just to take a stroll to see the landscapes is Atlantica Online, the Van Gogh city is breathtaking.

I have some high hopes for Lost Ark. It's a Diablo-style game, but with far more MMO elements, better classes, better skills, and more costumisability (fuck me what a cunt word to type).

The story seems to be that of any other generic Hack'n'Slash, but the graphics made me moist in the peenor region. I suggest you check out the two vids that are out there to get a feel for it, but I wouldn't expect too much as the devs have been silent for a year now.

The last news was that it was due for EU/NA release somewhere this year. Around summer I believe.

I do agree with you, but if you aren't alone in this game, if you can get at least one friend with you, the game will be way easier, I start playing that game the moment they release it, I never spent a $ on that game, all I've achieved in that game was by hard work and dedication, support of my only friend willing to play Archeage instead of that fucking WoW was enough to make it easier to get money and buy Apex for patron. The guild was my second boost in Archeage, without a guild you are a dead person, is very team based, with a good guild you don't have to strugle that much to get what you want. Overall for my point of view is still a game worth playing if you get the right people to play along.

It is much better than RO2, Ragnarok online 2 was a disaster, but however, due to the high amount of bots, ToS is kinda temporarily fucked, you can't trade items with other players since they decided to take off the feature to avoid gold sellers, and there are some other problems like the game feeling too linear, other than that, when the Trading thing is resolved, it will be fine.

Archage is the best MMORPG I played, stopped coz I would be dead by now, too addicting. I failed last year in school thanks to Archage Online, playing at least 10 hours every day, afking while I sleep. I was playing from the first day of EU servers, always in top players, top gear, vice leader of the second biggest guild .. Had to quit.

Does anyone still play TERA?

No idea about now, but as I started I joined a guild and made ton of friends, we all shared a team speak and after playing for 8 months I made like 10 very good friends, knew maybe 80 out of our 300 members, grinding for 50 hours together with some. The PVP is guild based, like you go with 100 people together on a trip and fight whoever u met. U can form alliances with another, be neutral, whatever. The politics in this game make it very interesting if u get into it.

EU servers are in a really bad shape right now. NA is way better and it only raised my ping by 80 or so.

If that's not enough NA gets most new things a bit faster, there are more and better events and no crappy failforge-style loading screen advertisements.
